Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

A lack of self-confidence leads to a boring, safe, dull life, where you are too afraid to do anything out of the ordinary. You are surrounded by routine… a prisoner of your own limitations.
People describe those with poor self-confidence as difficult to talk to… boring… lifeless… draining… depressed… unfortunate… unhappy… unpleasant… broken… and have no confidence in themselves.
Your world is full of uncertainty and doubt.
These are doubts about how others will see you. Doubts about the way you look and feel about yourself. Doubts about your ability to do things. Doubts about your being worthy of success.
This leaves you feeling empty, rejected and dejected inside.
But on the other hand the self-confident person is one who is almost always a success story.
They are more attractive to others. People describe them as charismatic… radiant… captivating… courageous… adventurous… talented… bold… and have high self-esteem.
They succeed in their careers or business, their love life, their hobbies, they have the greatest amount of good friends… they are rich beyond belief.
They seem to have it all.
Anything they touch turns to gold. Their life is like a dream.
All the evidence proves that confidence is something you can learn.
Self-confident people are no different from you on the outside. But on the inside they are playing a different game.
Every public victory is preceded by victory private victory.
Most people want the techniques of confidence and while to may get some results with these they are usually random, haphazard or just lucky. When you get the inner game, the internal feelings in place… the outer game almost always conforms to your inner reality of supreme self-confidence.
You win far more often with virtually predictable results every time.
This inner game of success stems from the way confident people have built up their confidence over the years.
Now all of this is duplicable in less than one hour.
Here’s how:
Over 40 years ago Neuro-Linguistic Programming was created by watching, studying and learning from the late Dr. Milton Erickson, the world’s greatest clinical hypnotherapist.
For more than 60 years Dr. Erickson successfully cured the untreatable. No other person alive could perform the way he could. His track record was legendary.
Then one man, Dr. Richard Bandler began his lifelong study as to why Dr. Erickson was so successful. He discovered something outstanding. Dr. Erickson explained that all of people’s mental problems were a result of being out of rapport with their subconscious mind.
All Erickson did was give the conscious mind a mini holiday by getting it to relax and quieten down.
Next he would get rapport with the subconscious mind and give it a series of instructions using stories and metaphors. Then he would ‘wake’ the patient up and the patient’s own subconscious would go to work fixing the problem automatically. From this Dr. Bandler and John Grinder formed NLP, now recognised all around the world as the most effective way of motivating people to change their lives for the better.
This new way of changing the inner game intrigued me so I paid over ?00,000 and for more than 23 years I’d studied brain science.
One of the most interesting discoveries I made was there are certain types of music and sounds that ‘entrain’ the brain.
Brainwave entrainment synchronises your thoughts. It’s like the experiments you may have seen with iron filings and magnets. If you pass a magnet close enough to these iron filings they all go in the same direction.
That’s like some people you meet. They may be completely negative. On the other hand you meet people who are completely positive.
Most people are like the iron filings on the table with no magnet close by. Then when a magnet gets near they change direction either positive or negative, but for the most part they have random scattered thoughts.
But when you are exposed to brainwave entrainment your brain becomes open and receptive like you were when you were six years old. We all have three parts to our brains. There’s the oldest part – the reptilian brain that handles fear. This primordial experience automatically triggers the need to fight or take flight.
The next part of your brain is the limbic system. All of your emotions are held here. When you get upset, feel a strong passion for doing something, experience sexual desire and love, they are all in the limbic system.
These are also triggered outside of our conscious awareness.
The newest part of your brain is the neo-cortex. This consist of the left brain that deals with logical concrete things and the right brain that deals with abstract concepts, music and art are great examples.
We need both sides of the brain to function at our very best.
If you are very confident in most situations in life and you can face fear and uncertainty with courage you will prevent the emotional brain and the reptilian brain from being automatically triggered.
Animals can’t do this. If a rat is cornered it will fight because that’s it only option. If a cat is treated well by its owner it will automatically purr in contentment because the cat’s emotional brain is wired to do that.
However with our new brain we can override the emotions of fear, uncertainty, and shyness when we have supreme confidence.
For the first time brainwave entrainment gives us the ability to get into rapport with the subconscious mind without the need for a hypnotherapist present.
Also brainwave entrainment activates the right and left hemispheres plus the connection between the two known as the corpus coliseum. Thus giving you childlike abilities to rapidly absorb new information and almost instantly transform this into actions and behaviour.
With this technology we can replicate the best NLP therapists because once the music gains rapport with your subconscious we now use the language structures used by the master hypnotherapists.
Now with the magic of high end sophisticated computer software combined with skilfully structured words you gain the unconscious thought patterns of the most confident people in the world.
And the best thing is – you do nothing except relax your way into a more successful you.
All you do is play the recorded sounds on your computer or your favourite mp3 player. You’ll need headphones and a quiet place away from outside distractions.
If you’ve already experienced a relaxation session liked this you’ll know how well this works.
The best brain entrainment recordings are structured to entertain your conscious mind giving it a mini holiday, while entraining your brain, giving it specific metaphors, symbols and stories to affect change fast.
It’s what we call ‘Entertainment.’
Imagine how much more you’ll get from others when you have the self- confidence in your life you’ve always wanted.
When you have complete confidence in yourself you are willing to try more, do more and risk more. You are able to get out of your ‘comfort zone’ and become a stronger more adventurous, daring person.
You’ll make more friends, maybe even meet that special person, make more money, try out new hobbies, visit exotic places, reach your goals and begin to live the life you’ve always dreamed about.
You become your own success story.
No more living in the past.
No more worrying about your future.
You live in the now, loving every minute of your wonderful life of happiness, peace of mind and a true feeling of being ultimately wealthy beyond your wildest expectations.
Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain? ?requency following?response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.
This ?requency following?response of brainwave entrainment can be seen in action with those prone to epilepsy. If a strobe flashes at their seizure frequency, the brain will ?ntrain?to the flashing light, resulting in a seizure.
On the positive side, this same mechanism is commonly used to induce many brainwave states; such as a trance, enhanced focus, relaxation, meditation or sleep induction. The brainwave entrainment effectively pushes the entire brain into a certain state.
Brainwave entrainment works for almost everyone. It is a great way to lead your mind into states that you might usually have difficulty reaching, allowing you to experience what those states feel like.
THE HYPE
There is a lot of marketing hype around brainwave entrainment. It is sold with promises of increasing IQ, promoting weight loss, ?ind-tripping? enhancing creativity, concentration, inducing spiritual states and more.
While these claims are not entirely true, they are not altogether false either. In practice, the claims are based on an overly-simplistic view of how the brain and the brainwaves function.
THE RUB
People are very seldom deficient in a certain brainwave type in all areas of their brain. Usually the distribution is much spottier, with an excess in one area and a deficiency in another.
We are all different, especially when it comes to the distribution of our brainwaves. Boosting a certain brainwave state may be beneficial for one person, and emotionally uncomfortable for another. Without knowing each person? starting position, entrainment can be rather ?it and miss?
If brainwave entrainment leaves you with unwanted side-effects (see below) or discomfort, you?e probably encouraging a range of brainwaves that are already excessive in some area of your brain. The way around this is to get a brain map to see what your brain? strengths and weaknesses are, and see what (if any) brainwaves could use some encouragement.
