We all have the Divine inside of us. The fact is that in most of us our Divinity is dormant. We have allowed our divinity to lie low and recede into the background of our lives because we truly do not believe how powerful we really are. When there is no awareness then there is no realization and so we reduce our lives to mediocrity.

We were never meant to be mediocre. This offends the Divine who has bestowed upon us great and unique gifts. For those of you who are familiar with the Bible there is the story of the Master who summoned his three servants and gave them each a certain number of talents. One of servants used the talents, while the other buried some and used some and the third servant buried his talents. To cut a long story short the third servant faced the wrath of his master who confronted him saying that he had not used his talents and that was offensive to him and so he was ousted from the master’s home.

The divine is the same but more merciful. He has given us talents and gifts within us that we must use for our higher good and the highest good of all concerned. We must use the divinity inside us to guide us to use our talents and gifts well. We have to respect our divinity. We all have the “Buddha” inside us but to become the Buddha is a long path full of sacrifices and hardships. Very few of us will ever choose this path. But we can start by following the guidance of our Divinity. Our conscience speaks to us through the Divine and we must be quiet and listen. The Divine will always guide us to use our gifts and talents in the most efficient and selfless way for the greater good of the Universe.

Whether you have the gift of music, dance, writing, oratory, money, compassion and dedication to the unfortunate and downtrodden or whatever your gift is, you must use it wisely and in accordance with the Divine. Ego is the one thing we must be aware of and avoid it as it taints our gifts and Divinity. It always comes from a selfish place and this in turn will affect our karma. Karma is inescapable for each and every one of us on this planet.

My message to you is simple and that is this; glorify the Lord selflessly with your talents and gifts. This can only come through him and this can be done by being in touch with your divinity. How can you be in touch with your divinity? This can be done through meditation and prayer. Purify yourself each day with a simple OM meditation. For 20 minutes close your eyes and meditate on the Holy sound of OM. Sound vibrations are such powerful psyche and consciousness healers and you will begin to see and immediate effect as you cleanse yourself and plant good intentions into your heart.

Stay strong and beautiful!

Stress can help… to a point

Stress management tools are part of your early warning system.

Feelings of tension alert you to things you need to take care of, so you can move on to more important things, like getting your work done and having fun with your kids.

When your early warning system doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to, it’s less like the whirring of a well-functioning motor and more like the annoying high-pitched beep of a super-sensitive smoke alarm. Stress management tools keep your warning system working at its best.

Here’s how it looks when your system is on high alert: tension in your chest, a distracting headache, upset stomach, jumbled thoughts. Maybe you know the path through the mess, but you still can’t get your brain around it.

If you’re like most people, you want the stressful feelings to stop. Changing the way you think, reorganizing your job, and sorting things out with your partner are hard to do in the heat of the moment You need something that will help you make a shift to a calmer self right away.

How do you get calm, clear, and focused now?

Navigation and your stress management tools

Stress Management Tools

My mother was a pilot for a short time, just before World War II. It’s easy, she said, to see where you’re going when you’re flying over familiar terrain, and high up where you have perspective.

But what if you don’t have that perspective?

It was a cloudy day when her instruments failed. She lost her visual cues, the broad brushstrokes of mountains and hills and valleys that normally led her back to the base. She also lost use of the gauges that normally told her how far she was from the ground and when she was on the right path.

She had no choice to but to drop below the cloud cover and fly low. But without the perspective of height, how could she tell where she was?

Stress is usually about what you don’t know

It’s about facing uncertainty. You’re not sure how it’s going to turn out – the presentation, the party, the surgery, the exam. You don’t know how people will react to your performance, your speech, your report.

You need to re-orient, and fast. But fast doesn’t necessarily mean big.

Know How to Change Your Direction

My mother had to change direction. But she couldn’t do it all at once. She didn’t have the information, and mistakes would have been, shall we say, costly.

She said to me, “When you’re in trouble, you have to think small.”

The further you are from your destination, she explained, the smaller the change you want to make. A change of just one degree could mean ending up a hundreds of miles off course.

It was much safer, she said, to make small changes, and often. In fact, long-term change is the result of a dozen or more short-term course corrections.

When her instruments were out, she decided to contact with the radio operators every 5 minutes or so. They told her how far off course she was, and each time she made a tiny change. Those small changes added up to the big changes she needed to get safely home.

The Surprising Truth About Habits

Can One-Minute Stress Management tools make a lasting difference in your life?

That depends on how often you use the tools, and of course the kind of stress you’re dealing with. Some of my clients find that practicing them solo – but often – does the trick.

But if you’re like most of my clients, you’ll find the path easier with an experienced guide. It can be reassuring to have someone in your corner, reminding you to tap into your dreams, nudging you to keep going, helping you troubleshoot sticky situations.

But whether you’re solo or with a coach, these stress management tools will give you a chance to slow down, reflect, and make the kinds of small adjustments that over time can be life-changing.

1. Breathe

Here’s a simple, powerful way to reduce stress: Breathe. Amazing things will happen. When you breathe your blood pressure drops, your metabolism slows, and your muscles relax. Instead of setting aside 10 or 20 minutes a day to meditate, how about setting aside one minute, 10 or 20 times a day? Breathing consciously and purposefully is one of the best stress management tools. Set an alarm to remind you, on the hour, to breathe.

2. Move

When you only have a minute, you have to make it count. Take a brisk walk around the building, or jog in place. Blast some music into your headphones and dance. Do your favorite yoga pose. Anything that nudges you out of the chair and gets your blood circulating will help. The Mayo Clinic includes exercise as one of the top stress management tools. Make sure the movement you choose is safe for you, and see what you can do with a minute!

3. Plan

Planning can make you happier, and it’s one of the most effective stress management tools. Skeptical? Here’s what I mean: My client Anna was the kind of woman who prided herself on doing excellent work, and it was unusual for her to procrastinate.

Maybe it was the kitchen remodel she was in the middle of, or perhaps it was having her 22 year old son at home for the summer, or it could have been any of the demanding projects she was dealing with. But here she was, not making progress on an important project, and her client who was expecting something spectacular… soon. Anna didn’t see how she was going to make it happen.

So Anna and I sat down to plan, step-by-step, a workable path through the dozen or so urgent projects she was facing. When we finished, her eyes were sparkling and she had a smile on her face. She finished within the week.

4. Laugh

It’s hard to feel anxious when you’re laughing. Turn off the news for a while and read something funny. Listen to your favorite comedian, take in a comedy show, watch a “kitten” video on YouTube, or simply notice the funny moments that are part of everyday life. Here’s a start: Act Two of a Podcast from This American Life, where a woman tells a joke that is so funny to herself that she can hardly tell it. Laughter is a fabulous stress management tool. Even the act of smiling can create a positive shift in your mood.

5. Touch

Hugs can reduce stress and boost your immune system. One study followed 400 people for two weeks, and found that more social support and more hugs meant a healthier immune system. The physical contact seems to be part of the picture, because massage seems to have the same benefit. No one around that you want to hug at the moment? You’ll get the same benefit if you hug yourself.

Adjust Your Course Often

These five stress management tools might seem too simple, but remember, it’s repetition that counts. Make small changes often.

Use them at work, at home, in line at the grocery store, or when you’re talking with someone and struggling for the right words to say. Use them when you are about to give a presentation, take a test, or sing for your friends. Use them when your ten year old comes home sad because he didn’t get the part in his school play, or when your teen is mad that you didn’t let her stay out until 2:00am on a Monday morning.

Any time you feel stress coming on, these stress management tools to navigate. They will help you stay on course until you regain your perspective.

Happy navigating!

Brainwave Entrainment Benefiting From Binaural Beats

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

What they are in fact are engineered audio undulates that have been processed as auditive artifacts to be used in the entire mind wave entrainment process. The perception of these meters are beyond the normal sense of hearing, but they have been tuned so that the brain has the stimuli necessary to actually pick up and exactly identify the frequency of the binaural meters. It was in reality established way back in 1893, and it was searched due to the finding that the brain in reality produces some sort of a low frequency impulse that is gave off via the neurons of the brain, and it was also discovered that with the use of stereo and the appropriate auditor stimuli, one was able to effect a frequency following reaction that would profit the end user.

First and fore most, the entire thought behind this was to investigate on the sense of sense of hearing within and without the psyche, and it was determined out that the mind was able of culling up relative frequencies that were beyond natural human ranges. Subsequently, the elementary stages of the technology was developed for relief against pain and in some way to help someone to relax, by introducing these binaural meters into both sides of the patients ears and seeing an effect on the physiology of the individual via the cortical. When looking into the brain, it was determined that there were five basic and potent undulates within the mind, and they ranged from the high gamma waves, all the way down to delta waves, the bottom wavelength usually found in people with deep REM sleep.

The relative frequencies are usually determined by the state of the individual who is experiencing them and if you are wake, you would commonly exhibit the higher wavelengths and the procedures associated with them, like better mental concentration etc. What you need to know is that there is so much more to this then elementary focus and states of wakefulness – the power of the brain wave can actually help you to not only reprogramme the unconscious but also invoke excellent states You can learn quicker, anything you want and be more creative than others – the tip of the iceberg.

You can also release the healing procedure in the body, get better development hormone levels and even help to unwind the mind. With these elements in psyche, the power of binaural beats when related to brainwave entrainment is something so precious, there can be no price associated with it. If you are interested in this applied science and would like to try more, the great news is that there are plenty of internet sites out there that can give you the opportunity to do so, and they have prepackaged this applied science in consumer friendly CD’s that you can use at your own leisure. All it takes is just a elementary download and you are on your way. If you are looking for a way to unleash the full power of your psyche, then this is it.
Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain? ?requency following?response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

This ?requency following?response of brainwave entrainment can be seen in action with those prone to epilepsy. If a strobe flashes at their seizure frequency, the brain will ?ntrain?to the flashing light, resulting in a seizure.

On the positive side, this same mechanism is commonly used to induce many brainwave states; such as a trance, enhanced focus, relaxation, meditation or sleep induction. The brainwave entrainment effectively pushes the entire brain into a certain state.

Brainwave entrainment works for almost everyone. It is a great way to lead your mind into states that you might usually have difficulty reaching, allowing you to experience what those states feel like.

THE HYPE
There is a lot of marketing hype around brainwave entrainment. It is sold with promises of increasing IQ, promoting weight loss, ?ind-tripping? enhancing creativity, concentration, inducing spiritual states and more.

While these claims are not entirely true, they are not altogether false either. In practice, the claims are based on an overly-simplistic view of how the brain and the brainwaves function.
THE RUB
People are very seldom deficient in a certain brainwave type in all areas of their brain. Usually the distribution is much spottier, with an excess in one area and a deficiency in another.

We are all different, especially when it comes to the distribution of our brainwaves. Boosting a certain brainwave state may be beneficial for one person, and emotionally uncomfortable for another. Without knowing each person? starting position, entrainment can be rather ?it and miss?

If brainwave entrainment leaves you with unwanted side-effects (see below) or discomfort, you?e probably encouraging a range of brainwaves that are already excessive in some area of your brain. The way around this is to get a brain map to see what your brain? strengths and weaknesses are, and see what (if any) brainwaves could use some encouragement.

Did you know that noise can have a dramatic effect on your personal well being? Well you may be surprised to learn that there have actually been scientific studies that have tested what therapeutic value noise can have on peoples health. These studies have revealed that the right sort of sound can greatly improve your health.

This right type of noise is often referred to as white-noise or even white sound. The benefit of white-noise is that it is so serene and tranquil that it can make you feel very peaceful and relaxed. Such is the effect of white noise on people’s health that you can now even purchase white noise on CD format.

White noise is well known for aiding sleep in certain people. The CD has programmed sound waves recorded onto them which simulate certain deep sleep patterns. This can help to soothe the brainwaves which can in effect help to give you a restful sleep.

There are a variety of CD’s that you can use; each of them provides a different sound that can suit different needs. You could have certain machine produced white noise on the CD or something that takes you back to nature such as the sound of waves gently lapping on the coast.

Many people use the white noise CD’s when they have certain sleep problems. They are very god for treating babies that have colic and helping to soothe them so they can sleep peacefully. These white noise CD’s are a very cost effective way to help relax you. You could put them on a normal stereo player and adjust the settings such as bass and treble to get the exact sound you want.

If you live with somebody that snores or you can hear traffic at night time, then by putting one of these CD’s on you could in effect drown out the sound that usually keeps you awake and get a peaceful sleep yourself.

If you are not sure which white noise CD is right for you then you could go online and check for websites that actually stream samples for you to check. This way you will pick the correct sounds for your particular needs.

At one time or another, most of us have experienced insomnia. It can be frustrating to have continued sleepless nights and not to be able to do anything about it. There are many natural cures for insomnia that don’t involve taking medications. As everyone knows, some medications can have significant side effects and can become addictive. We are going to look at the use of binaural beat technology as a non-medicative natural cure for insomnia.

Natural cures for insomnia are not addictive, less expensive, and actually have more permanent and longer-lasting relief. Relaxation techniques can calm the mind, reduce stress, and result in more regular and deeper sleep.

The objective is to be as relaxed as possible before going to bed. The more relaxed you are, the more likely you will be able to get a good night’s sleep.

Before bedtime, it is best to avoid intake of alcohol, smoking, caffeine, and vigorous exercise. Make sure your sleep environment is not too bright and is quiet and free from excess noise.

Meditation is one form of a natural cure for insomnia and is a proven method to induce deep relaxation which will lead to reaching a deep sleep. Typically, they most popular meditation methods are yoga and Tai Chi. However, these methods can take months of learning and practice to become truly effective.

Another way to achieve deep meditative states and induce deep sleep is to use binaural beat technology. Binaural beats are differential wave frequencies that are listened to with a set of stereo headphones. The binaural beats are usually embedded in a soothing music background so you are not even aware that you are listening to them.

Binaural beats are set up to induce the brain to reduce its brainwave activity to the alpha state and finally to the delta state of sleep. The only thing you have to do is surround yourself with a relaxing and quiet environment and let the music do its job. You will find that you will be able to fall asleep more easily.

A peaceful life is like a dream in today’s competitive and materialistic world. A chase for wealth & fame seems never-ending but still everyone wants peace. The funny thing is, there are people who did nothing except taking the others’ peace of mind are in search of peace. Life is tough yet beautiful and worth living in any circumstances. Present situation and circumstance will soon become past no matter what; this is the fact of life and nothing can change it but the irony is still many of us can’t fight our circumstances and give-up the most beautiful thing they possess. Peace is not about silence and quietness it is about the feeling of full-fill ness, a feeling of satisfaction- satisfaction of doing something good. And, it can be attained by practicing the following:

Meditation:

As per Buddhist philosophy, meditation is a way to attain salvation, it is never too late, one can attain salvation through meditation at any stage of life, I do not know about salvation but peace of mind can be attained by meditation at any stage of life. Meditation in my opinion is clearing your thoughts and mind from anything which is disturbing and distracting. One can control all his anger, grief and any other feeling with the help of meditation. Meditation is not a very technical process which requires a proper training, it can be practiced easily by a non-technical person all it requires is attention. Being attentive is not a practice that needs to be confined to a cross-legged posture. Meditative attention is a dynamic practice of paying close attention to what you are doing in whatever posture or situation you happen to be in.

Exercise Daily:

Healthy body and healthy mind are the key ingredients to a peaceful life. Exercising everyday helps to improve the energy level and immunity. It is not necessary to spend hours in gym, even jogging or walking for half an hour daily can keep you rejuvenated for rest of the day. Once your body will be fit and healthy, you will feel more confidence in whatever you do. A life reborn as a human is considered a very precious thing. To have a long life is a rare and important opportunity to end our suffering. Hence, it is important to keep healthy. To keep the body in good health is a duty…otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.

Practice your Hobby Daily:

Hobbies are important and need to be practiced regularly for happiness. Hobbies are the best way to show your talent and express your feelings. It gives you an opportunity to spend more time with your own self which otherwise is the most difficult thing in this busy world. A hobby is much more than just a pastime. A hobby has many benefits and advantages for each individual. For some, a hobby is an emotional outlet, for others a way of gaining knowledge. Hobbies keep our minds – and our hands – active. Most hobbies are an ideal way to relax. Coming home from work and sitting down to enjoy your favorite pastime helps to take your mind off of the stresses of the day. Hobbies also help you unwind before bed so you can get a better night’s sleep.

Music & Dancing:

Music & dancing are the best stress-busters. Music not only has a capability to release tension but to attain mental peace and so has dancing. One does not need to be a trained dancer or singer, doing your own thing in a way which is most enjoyable to you can remove all your tensions. Listening to music helps you to keep your negative thoughts away and enjoy life to the fullest. Life without music would leave us unsure and probably incapable of venting our emotions. Music touches our soul, and allows us to express different moods and emotions. Music has power to cheer you up even in your worst mood and to give up all the unpleasant thoughts. Music is an art that meliorates the creativity in you as it appeals to not only the conscious mind but also the unconscious mind.

Reading:

Books are not only the important source of knowledge but also can provide answers to all your questions. It is important to read and to listen to great teachers, so we can ‘undo’ more of our ignorance. Books are important, as is listening to great teachers. In fact, it is one of the most important things we can do with our lives. It however does not mean that one need to read books on religion and self-motivation only to attain peace of mind. One can read anything as per his own interest be it poetry, novel, story book or even the newspaper. Reading continuously gives an insight to a person to solve his own problems & achieve mental peace.

So, it is rightly quoted by a religion-guru, ” If in day-to-day life you lead a good life, honestly with love, with compassion, with selflessness then automatically it will lead to Nirvana,” for us that means peace.

Meditation music is music performed to aid in the practice of meditation. It can have a specific religious content, but also more recently has been associated with modern composers who use meditation techniques in their process of composition, or who compose such music with no particular religious group as a focus.

study music alpha waves | isochronic tone generator
In “The Journal of Yoga Science as Mind-Body Medicine,” Leonard Perlmutter compares the human brain to technology. Just as new software can make an old computer system function more efficiently, meditation can alter the state of the mind.

Yogic Viewpoint

According to Yogic philosophy, the physical body is a projection of the unconscious mind, the place where all of the memories, experiences, and dreams are stored, as well as the addictions, fears, anger, and disappointments. The ideas and thoughts that receive the most attention create the deepest channels of communication. These pathways include creativity and healthy habits, in addition to compulsions and addictions.

As these stimuli are processed, the unconscious mind sends signals to the physical body. Depending on its interpretation, the body can then relax and function more efficiently, or it can pump cortisol and adrenaline into its system, in an effort to fight what it perceives as a threat. Although we often blame other people or circumstances for these reactions, it is our interpretation of events that creates our realities.

Training the Mind for Positive Thinking

Yoga meditation is one of the most effective ways of changing our thinking, and the style is not as important as the fact that it takes place on a regular basis. Although having a specific time of day and a particular place are helpful in creating a positive habit, they are not necessary. A simple act of mindfulness can take place on the tennis court or the carpool.

Many Meditation Methods

For people who have trouble sitting still, guided meditations, visualizations, and music with binaural beats are often good starting points. What works for one person may not work for another. Meditation classes help to provide discipline, and the sequences of poses in Yoga classes were designed to prepare the mind for a meditative state. Many people change meditation styles as they learn the art, while others integrate several different kinds of meditation into their practices.

Just as it took time and attention to integrate bad habits into our lifestyles, it also takes patience and diligence to develop new ones. By rewriting the old programs running our brains, we can silence our minds and create healthy habits of loving kindness and compassion.

Yogic Breath Awareness Meditation for Silencing the Mind

One method that most Yoga students find to be the easiest to grasp is breath awareness meditation. Breath awareness is often taught in Yoga classes; which makes one realize how wise the Swamis of the past were.

While we are living, our breath is a constant ebb and flow. We do not have to drive to the beach, or mountains, to be in touch with our breath. All you have to do is sit comfortably and breathe, without judging yourself. Just observe your breathing and relax, without trying to control inhales or exhales.

Options for Yogic Breath Awareness

Good posture is important, but sitting on the floor can be difficult, if you were born into a chair-sitting society. For this reason, consider a chair or a prop for sitting. Otherwise, you might only be able to concentrate on the pain in your back.

Closing your eyes is optional, but it does help some practitioners concentrate on their breath. The same can be said for light music. Some Yoga teachers never use music for a session, but some use it for everything. Therefore, consider music an optional tool.

Conclusion

Meditation will help you silence your mind. Many experienced practitioners forget to point new students toward the easiest meditation methods. The shortest path toward training and silencing the mind is the easiest.

Basic meditation music simply provides a way for an individual to go deeper with their meditation by adding a new layer to their experience. … Unlike many other music forms, the binaural beats work with the brain to develop a frequency most associated with relaxation.

Brainwave Entrainment Nightmares and Night Terrors – Two Terrifying Conditions That Can Cause Major Health Problems

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

If you or anyone you know has never been subjected to nightmares, you may rightly assume that a bad dream is just a nightmare. However, this assumption would be false. All nightmares are not the same and some people may suffer from nightmares and night terrors, both of which take shape in sleep’s different stages.

You need to understand right now that sleep panic attacks should never be cast aside and thought of as just bad dreams and nightmares. They also should not be viewed as the end of the world because they can be controlled. Anxiety sleep disorder is nothing more than your anxiety, fears and worries, all rolled into one.

They Are Not The Same: Getting To Know The Difference Between Nightmares and Night Terrors

What Are Nightmares – The bad dreams people call nightmares are just upsetting, frightening and visual hallucinations that take place in the mind and awaken the sufferer. Nightmares are more common than people realize and any person, young or old, can be afflicted and affected by them. A nightmare occurs when the body is dealing with too much stress and anxiety; it’s also the subconscious’ way of telling a person that they are fearful of something and must deal with it. They often take hold during the REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, which produces great fear, anxiety, anguish and horror.

What Are Night Terrors – When people have night terrors, they may wake up feeling paralyzed, both physically and mentally; they may feel as if they are suffocating and feel trapped by the experience. This type of “dream” occurs during the non-REM sleep (the time when the brainwaves are long and slow). This is also the time when sleepwalking, sleep screaming and sleeping talking can take place. Night terrors generally occur an hour or so after the person has gone to bed; however, there have been instances where a sufferer has experienced them immediately upon going to sleep. This generally occurs because the sufferer was already troubled upon going to bed. Sufferers generally have a hard time waking up during a night terror.

Why Do Nightmares Occur In The First Place

There are many reasons why a person will suffer from nightmares. Some factors include martial problems, health issues, stress, feeling inadequate, being insecure, facing trauma, etc. People who suffer with recurring nightmares often seek the advice and guidance of a mental health professional or therapist.

Besides seeking out professional help, people may change their lifestyle to make a difference in their sleep dreams. They may decide to change their diet to include healthier foods. They may decide that they need more regular exercise or change when they get their exercise (nighttime exercising boost adrenaline, which can affect how well the person sleeps).

If a child is the sufferer of recurring nightmares, parents should be vigilant and seek help right away from the child’s pediatrician.

A Fleeting Look At Sleep Panic Attacks

Panic attacks that happen in people with depression, sleep apnea symptoms and panic disorders often occur in the overnight hours. Children of any age can have sleep disorders and the experience can be rough, not only on the kids but on the parents too. Nightmares that occur in PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) patients often involve them thinking back on the original horrifying incidents that took place.

A nightmare disorder is the repeated instance of a bad dream that keeps a person from experiencing a good night’s rest. While some dream disorders react to medication, behavioral therapy is much healthier and produces outstanding results; seen especially in people who are diagnosed with PTSD or have chronic nightmares.

Meditation music is music performed to aid in the practice of meditation. It can have a specific religious content, but also more recently has been associated with modern composers who use meditation techniques in their process of composition, or who compose such music with no particular religious group as a focus.

One should remember that if a weight loss program is to be started that it should never be rushed, as these things will take time and effort in the long run. However there are many things to consider with whatever diet or caloric intake program you are on.

Remember to eat only when you are hungry, not as an appetizer or an after dinner snack. A good three meals a day will be sufficient to serve your needs. Include in your diet lots of water, it will help your cells expunge toxins and replenish your energy. 80% of our body is water so this is necessary.

Exercise as often as possible and at the very least keep fit. Inactivity will only promote your body to store more fat and heighten your glycogen levels, and the less you sweat the more your body will be unable to purge itself of toxins. Go out for a 2 mile walk, play with the pets and the children, and allow yourself a lot of sun to absorb during this time.

Make sure to eat fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible. The necessary intake of fiber will help your body rid it of extra weight. A good goal to set would be 5-9 fruits and/or vegetables per day. Nutritionists recommend 50% of your diet to be raw foods. These can include foods like raw Cocoa and raw vegetables.

Supplementation can also be a huge key factor along with weight loss and exercise. Along with Raw foods, Superfoods such as Spirulina, Aloe Vera, Flax Seeds, Hemp Seeds, Cocoa and Greens blends can bolster your immune system and in turn make you feel full. Remember that 80% of your immune system is in your digestive tract.

In all circumstances try to avoid alcohol and sugar. Make sure to replace sugars with fruits if possible, and limit yourself to no more than a drink every other few days (if you do drink regularly). Try to find alternative approaches to manage stress and stress factors. Exercise your free time with books, music or meditation.

You can also apply a mono diet, where you only eat one thing at a time or several small things during the day if you can’t follow a 3 meal a day course. Researchers found that people that eat 4-5 small single meals a day were shown to exhibit better weight and appetite control.

And when your cooking, replace the iodized salt with sea salt. Add some herbs and/or spices to your food. Sea Salt and black pepper are excellent examples. This will have a purging effect on your system and will also purify your blood. If your going to cook your vegetables, make sure to flash fry them for a short amount of time (no longer than 3-5 minutes) so they retain 90% of the nutrients they came with when they were fresh.

Make sure to enjoy the foods you like with a smile! As long as you are supplementing yourself with proper fibers and vitamins (fruits, vegetables, raw foods, superfoods) and taking a viable amount of water and exercise in your system, then go for it! The isolation of your body from your favorite foods can lead to a feeling of deprivation and subsequently unsatisfactory feeling of exhaustion. Do not cut out your favorite foods entirely, simply eat them less often than normal.

First, I’m seriously wired by nature and am not someone who can stop thinking. I have learned to meditate very effectively once I learned some facts about real meditation.

Problem one is thinking that you can’t meditate, or it’s not real meditation if you have thoughts going through your head. You do NOT have to stop thinking, or empty your mind of thoughts…that will happen ON ITS OWN if you meditate correctly.

If you’re closed-minded, your ability to reach deep states of meditation, or spiritual connectedness, is restricted. This is the way we are designed…scientifically. Meditation at its core, is meant to slow down brain waves, whether you know it or not. It’s just like you may know how to drive a car, but have no clue what’s going on mechanically. People will meditate for relaxation, healing, spiritual connection, communication, access to the infinite field of consciousness…whatever your reason, it is all only attainable directly as a result of slowing your brain waves to a certain frequency range.

The four major brainwave states/frequencies are: Beta, Alpha, Theta, and Delta in that order. More info is available on the specific states via the link in my bio. Meditation is mainly attempting to bring the brain to the Theta and Delta states. This is where everything happens: the connection, communication, healing, access to the quantum field of consciousness. So the point is to slow your brain waves.

You do need time, especially if you don’t use tools to help you. It’s just like trying to relax, except much deeper. You need time to relax…and you can also use music or other tools to help you. Meditation music was what I found to be the most helpful for me. Real meditation music…like with binaural beats. The music is specially made to influence your brain to slow down…to chill out.

Watch on things that raise the rate of your brain waves, like certain colors. Red, for example is a very high rate of vibration. Deep blue is among the slowest. I recommend keeping your eyes shut the whole time.

Most of the meditation music that I bought, was effective, but very long. I decided to make my own music which is made to bring the brain waves from Beta to low Alpha in less than 6 minutes, and then another music track that goes from low Alpha to low Theta in less than 6 minutes again.

The Beta to low Alpha meditation music track is available for free. The Theta music track is available to buy. There is a music link in my bio.
