Stress is part of life and affects all of us at some point. Know your stress so you can manage it. Unless you know what is stressful to you, you can’t manage it effectively.

How Can Stress Affect Your Body?
Stress affects your body immediately (acutely) and over time. The acute stress response, also called the “fight-or-flight” syndrome begins when we are faced with a threat or stressful situation. Your body responds to the threat by releasing chemicals that trigger a set of changes throughout the body:

• Your heart rate increases to move blood to the muscles and brain
• Your blood pressure goes up
• You breathe more rapidly
• Your digestion slows down
• You begin to perspire more heavily
• The centers of your eyes (pupils) dilate (get larger)
• You feel a rush of strength

Your body becomes tense, alert, and ready for action. Stress can help you to concentrate at peak efficiency and is great motivation. However, your body stays on alert until your mind tells you the situation has passed, which can be a long period of time.

Here are some things you can do to avoid feeling stressed:

• Go to bed 15-30 minutes earlier at night
• Reduce or eliminate caffeine consumption
• Get a massage – even a 15 minute back rub by a family member or friend can do wonders
• Allow yourself some “personal time” every day
• Exercise
• Read a book
• Take a long, warm bubble bath
• Do volunteer work
• Take up a hobby – something you really want to do

Remember that stress comes in cycles and that you will face periods of high stress and low stress. Know the things that stress you out (your job, boss, a friend, co-worker, family member, etc.) and be alert to when stress is in increasing so you can handle it before it becomes overwhelming. The best thing you can do is to take preemptive action to alleviate your stress before it affects your life. If that isn’t possible and you’re already under stress, identify what is causing your stress, and then take steps (try some of the examples above or the mediation steps below) to alleviate or minimize your stresses.

Below is an example of “The Relaxation Response” developed by Dr. Herbert Benson which has been specially adapted to cardiac patients to help them get rid of their stress and relax..

1. Find a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Sit in a comfortable position and close your eyes.
2. Beginning with your feet and slowly moving upward, relax your muscles. Take a moment to experience the feeling of being completely relaxed.
3. Slowly breathe in and out through your nose, paying attention to each breath. As you exhale, begin to silently repeat a short phrase or single word. Choose a word that helps you focus your mind and has meaning for you. If you can’t think of one right away, try a word such as “peace” or “calm”.
4. Continue concentrating on your word and breathing deeply for 10-15 minutes.
5. Sit quietly and undisturbed for a few more minutes with your eyes closed then gradually open your eyes.

Something that works well for many people is applying the examples listed against the backdrop of soothing music, or a soothing voice guiding you through some relaxation steps or simply helping you meditate. Listening to a calming voice or music alone can also help you to relax.

Menopause weight gain is perhaps one of the most common complaints women will struggle with as they enter the stages of perimenopause and menopause.

Full blown menopause typically happens at age 50, however in perimenopause (between the ages of 35 and throughout the 40s) menopause weight gain is already well in progress. As you begin to leave the reproductive years behind you, your hormones begin to fluctuate and levels of progesterone and estrogen begin to decline. Your body becomes somewhat of a hoarder as it begins to manufacture and store hormones in order to maintain balance.

Can you guess where estrogen is stored? If you guessed fat, you’d be absolutely right. What actually happens within the workings of the endocrine system is a little more detailed than what I’ve just explained, however I think you get the picture here. When your body is out of balance, the result is menopause weight gain and more specifically, menopause belly fat.

Beating menopause weight gain isn’t about cutting out that Friday night cheesecake with the girls. It requires a lifestyle change (and not the latest fad diet) in order to get and keep your body in balance.

Here’s 4 belly fat loss tips that have been proven to be very effective in helping you beat menopause weight gain.

1. Begin Some Form of Daily Exercise.

If you haven’t been active since your school days, now is the time to begin. Choose an activity that you enjoy doing, otherwise no amount of self talk will help to keep you motivated much less maintain consistency with your exercise plan.

It can be as simple as a brisk walk each day or putting on your favorite music CD and dancing to it for 30 minutes. The idea is to increase your heart rate, get your heart pumping, increase your blood flow and expand your lungs. How do you know when you’re working hard enough? An easy way to tell is if you find it somewhat difficult to carry on a conversation, but you’re NOT out of breath or gasping for air.

TIP: It takes about 15 minutes of activity before your body begins burning fat.

2. Add Some Resistance Training To Your Exercise Plan.

You begin to lose lean muscle mass to the tune of about one half pound of muscle per year. As a result, metabolism naturally begins to slow down as well. The more lean muscle you have, the faster your metabolism will be, the more calories you’ll burn daily and the more effectively you’ll keep menopause weight gain at bay. It takes far more calories to maintain metabolically active lean muscle than to maintain fat on your body.

TIP: If you really want to turbo charge belly fat loss, do 15 to 20 minutes of resistance training BEFORE you take that brisk walk. This will increase your fat burning tenfold!

Be sure to consult with your doctor before starting any exercise program especially if you have any medical conditions or if you haven’t exercised regularly in the past.

3. Decrease The Amount Of Calories You Take In.

As metabolism naturally begins to slow down, decrease the amount of calories you eat daily, especially if you’re not very active.

TIP: By reducing your calorie intake by 200-250 calories a day, and taking a 45 minute brisk walk each evening, you can lose approximately 1-2 pounds in a week.

4. As Women, We Tend To Put Ourselves Last On The List.

Sound familiar? Because life can be so hectic, it’s important to carve out some down time to de-stress every day. High levels of stress releases adrenaline and cortisol. Cortisol is the stress hormone that’s also responsible for increasing menopause belly fat storage.

TIP: Techniques like Self hypnosis, Meditation, Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong are effective ways to de-stress, center yourself and recharge your body in the process.

Ideally you want to strike a healthy balance between work and play…eating healthy most days while still enjoying your Friday cheesecake with the girls. Yes, our bodies naturally change with time. That’s a given.

Some people have a good sense of focus and concentration. They have the skill to stabilize their minds without regard to their current environment. Conversely, there are people who always seem to be distracted and inefficient, no matter how hard they try. Their work and judgment are affected by their inability to concentrate. These types of people will find meditation to be a good aid. To achieve a certain degree of enlightenment, meditation requires you to create a mental space.

There are different effects of meditation for different people. Factors such as character and mood can affect these. Confusion is reflected in a person’s actions when they do not understand themselves. Therefore, contemplation is necessary for a state of enlightened consciousness to be achieved.

Essentials of meditation include recitation of a mantra, a peaceful spot in which to reflect, and complete concentration. Although sitting meditation is the most basic and effective form, there are some ways to change the process. After you become accustomed to meditating, you can create other forms of meditation. It will be easy to stay tuned up after your mind has been set for meditation. Also, you can integrate of the essence of the spirit and mental awareness with the flow of life.

Once you get used to regular meditating practice, you will always make it a point to spare a few moments for meditating process. It will be natural that you wish to seek the blissful state regularly.

What should you do if you can not find a good place to meditate? Focus and concentration can be found in various ways. One way to capture your mind in the meditation state is to focus your attention to a spot in the room. Also, you can listen attentively to your breathing or just focus on a small object. Meditation can be used and carried beyond the meditation period with the assistance of peaceful music and vibrant colors.

Athletes need to be grounded in order to remain focused in their art or skill. If they kept in touch with their higher consciousness, their physical ability could be enhanced. A famous woman boxer said that she never failed to meditate or chant due to her violent profession. This is her method of freeing her mind from the gym’s environment to establish a feeling of tranquility and calm. She gives a blow to the speed bag and then attentively listens to its sound. The difference in the impact of the glove will cause a variation in the sound for a one-way blow. Then she had only to close her eyes and concentrate on the sound of the speed bag.

Brainwave Entrainment Alpha Brain Waves – The Real Key to Binaural Beats Meditation

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

There is a secret method that provides you the opportunity to experience sharper focus, clearer thinking and less emotional upheaval. You will find more joy, more love, and the freedom from worry. By reading every word of this article you will find out about a revolutionary new discovery that could give you a deeper sense of meaning and purpose for your life. Greater creativity, enhanced performance in your work and play, superior intimacy with family and friends has been reported.

You probably already know that the practice of meditation can have a profound effect on your mental, emotional and physical well being. I’m sure you know during a meditation session we are to focus minds on a “mantra” or a point of focus. It could be your breath, a candle light, or anything that can take our attention off of the noise of our everyday life.

Learning the simple technique of meditation has proven for some not to be that simple at all. Do you have a problem with your thoughts racing all over the place when you are trying to focus on your mantra and quiet your mind? Do you feel that it will take many years to ever experience the deep spiritual consciousness that you are trying to achieve. Are you falling asleep before you are able to reach your meditative state?

Do not fret many people go through these same experiences. You will soon discover a technique to heighten your existing meditation sessions. And tap into your alpha brain waves that place you in a relaxed awareness. By accessing your alpha brain wave state, the brain’s process is slowed down and thoughts become clearer. Stress and anxiety begin to disappear.

When you are able to bring your consciousness in-line with an alpha brainwave entrainment you will enhance your learning ability, increase your memory, and achieve more success than you can imagine.

What are Alpha Brain Waves?

Alpha brainwaves are sometimes called the “meditation brain waves.” When we are relaxed and feeling calm our brainwave frequency, when measured with an EEG, are in the 8 to 12 cycles per seconds range. This is the second level of our mental consciousness, with beta being first, alpha second, theta and lastly delta.

When Dr. Hans Berger discovered the existence of electrical brainwaves in 1908, he called them alpha waves because they were the first to be found.

Alpha brainwaves are also the bridge between the conscious and subconscious mind. That’s why this is the state we attempt to attain in our daily meditative practice. The question can be asked, “How can I reach this alpha state when I can’t seem to focus on my own?” That is a fair question.

What I found is binaural beats meditation has helped me to reach deeper states of meditation than I’ve ever been able to achieve on my own. Imagine for a moment…what if you had the ability to focus your mind on nothing but a deep state of meditation, mental clarity, and alpha wave entrainment without waiting for years to enjoy your meditative progress? How would that feel?

How do Binaural Beats Meditation work?

When using binaural beats meditation you listen to a binaural beat mp3 or cd through stereo headphones. An alpha wave tone is heard in each ear. But the magic of meditating with the binaural beat mp3 is the soft music or calming nature sounds that are played in the foreground. These relaxing sounds give your mind something more entertaining to focus on while the real work is performed in the background.
Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain? ?requency following?response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

This ?requency following?response of brainwave entrainment can be seen in action with those prone to epilepsy. If a strobe flashes at their seizure frequency, the brain will ?ntrain?to the flashing light, resulting in a seizure.

On the positive side, this same mechanism is commonly used to induce many brainwave states; such as a trance, enhanced focus, relaxation, meditation or sleep induction. The brainwave entrainment effectively pushes the entire brain into a certain state.

Brainwave entrainment works for almost everyone. It is a great way to lead your mind into states that you might usually have difficulty reaching, allowing you to experience what those states feel like.

THE HYPE
There is a lot of marketing hype around brainwave entrainment. It is sold with promises of increasing IQ, promoting weight loss, ?ind-tripping? enhancing creativity, concentration, inducing spiritual states and more.

While these claims are not entirely true, they are not altogether false either. In practice, the claims are based on an overly-simplistic view of how the brain and the brainwaves function.
THE RUB
People are very seldom deficient in a certain brainwave type in all areas of their brain. Usually the distribution is much spottier, with an excess in one area and a deficiency in another.

We are all different, especially when it comes to the distribution of our brainwaves. Boosting a certain brainwave state may be beneficial for one person, and emotionally uncomfortable for another. Without knowing each person? starting position, entrainment can be rather ?it and miss?

If brainwave entrainment leaves you with unwanted side-effects (see below) or discomfort, you?e probably encouraging a range of brainwaves that are already excessive in some area of your brain. The way around this is to get a brain map to see what your brain? strengths and weaknesses are, and see what (if any) brainwaves could use some encouragement.

Brainwave Entrainment So What Is Brainwave Entrainment Anyway?

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

Brainwave entrainment is one of the newest, most impressive personal development tools on the market these days, and its benefits and applications, are just starting to be recognized, even though it’s been around in the public for over 70 years.

Entrainment is a natural thing and happens to us many times during the day, without us even being aware of it.

Raindrops falling off the roof onto the ground outside your window, will entrain your brainwave into a lovely alpha, dreamy state. Listening to your favorite rock band will have your brainwaves rocking to the high focus state of beta. The lullaby your mama used to sing to you as a baby, lulled your brainwaves into a deep delta state. When you find yourself at home, with no memory of the trip you must have just taken, after driving 20 miles through town and who knows how many traffic lights, means your brainwaves were entrained to the dissociative state of theta.

So that being established, entrainment being natural, just exactly what is brainwave entrainment anyway?

Brainwave entrainment is a scientifically proven therapeutic tool that uses sound to alter your brainwaves to a desired frequency providing a viable solution to a huge variety of problems. Neuroscience has determined that many of our problems stem from being in the wrong brainwave frequency at the wrong time or for too long a time.

Deliberate entraining is a neurological process that introduces sound and/or visual patterns, to the brain, with the intention of altering its electrical activity.

Brainwave entrainment today has merged with modern technology and has produced a simple, self-help mechanism that produces altered states of consciousness, that you are usually unconscious of, consciously, by introducing specific brainwave frequency patterns.

The brain responds to repeated, rhythmic sensory stimulation, with a Cortical Evoked Responses, which is an electrical charge that travels through the brain. The brain’s activity changes, based on what pattern is introduced. These changes reflect different brainwave frequencies.

Research has proven that each different brainwave frequency denotes a different state of mind or consciousness, and a different set of features and benefits.

Therefore, it stands to reason that if you can deliberately access certain brainwaves, and sustain them over a period of time, you could change your state of consciousness to whatever frequency you would like to experience, at the time you choose.

Hence the application of brainwave entrainment.

And as a bonus, brainwave entrainment re-organizes the brain at a higher level, growing new neural pathways, re-wiring the neural networks, changing subconscious programming and changing how you process information.

Changing how you process information opens the door to the changing of how you manage your life, how you perceive and react to it, thus enhancing your life.

Brainwave entrainment helps you access your own mind power, allowing you to experience the brainwave frequency of your choosing, opening up endless opportunities for an enhanced life.

Anyway, that’s what brainwave entrainment is… a scientifically proven reality changer.

The temple of your soul – your body needs attention!

Last week additionally to the New Moon, we had four other planets in Pisces infusing the week with Neptunian spirit and an invitation for a deepening inner orientation and focus. I have discussed the general qualities of Pisces and the spiritual dimension of the 12th sign in the evolution of the zodiac. This week we still have the Sun, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus in Pisces as well as Neptune conjoining Mercury. You could say the stars are in perfect alignment for us now to tend to the healing dimension of Pisces as well as the spiritual dimension.
Neptune rules Pisces and, with Jupiter, the 12th House (the Personal Connection with the Divine & the Invisible Realms). In the body Neptune rules the feet, pineal gland, thalamus, psychological neuroses, and unresolved illnesses.

Neptune

Neptune is the Roman god of the sea (Greek Poseidon), reflected in the deep blue color of the planet. This is not a very literal or concrete planet. It is associated with many non material, sometimes nebulous and transcendent principles: religion and spirituality, fantasy, imagination, creativity in art and music, idealism, compassion, love, higher states of consciousness and connectedness to the divine, mysticism, and psychic phenomena. And it is also representing poison, drugs, toxins, gases, addictions, and degenerative, the life force diminishing influences.

Individuals under the influence of Neptune may be drawn to careers and activities that afford withdrawal into the self, such as monks or nuns. Neptune at its best supports our striving toward inspiration, service and insight, but its negative influence is associated with addiction, weakness, illusions, and deception.

Highlights of the week:

• Mercury Neptune conjunction in Aquarius
• Sun joins Jupiter at 9 degrees Pisces
• Moon is in flexible Gemini, moves into emotional Cancer and then into analytical Virgo

Your Body is Your Temple: And it is High Time for Some House Cleaning

Last week after a month of delay in the postal system I finally got the book “Detoxify or Die” by Sherry Rogers, M.D. I had ordered, probably because it was just the right time for me. I read it twice in 5 days. Having accumulated many symptoms over the years starting with debilitating migraines and headaches on a regular base, arthritis in my hands, severe allergies, skin problems, Candida and other things I have tried on and off different approaches to detox and clean out my body. I have experimented with all kinds of healthy diets and cleanses which have not provided me with a break through experience of getting much better. I even did colon cleanses for 10 days ending with a profound liver flush, okay I won’t get into that right now… (If you like to read a real fun description of a liver cleanse Arjuna Ardagh did a great article on his liver cleanse)

Let’s just say I am still motivated to find easy ways to get better and improve my health. Reading the book Detoxify or Die has been very inspiring and got me into action. I often have been very frustrated in the past with reading health books because just realizing the extent of our environmental pollution and toxic exposure through air, water, food made me feel very helpless and angry. And the offered solutions seemed to be very expensive, hard to do and often made me go through major activations of my symptoms. I often ended up in that place of overwhelm and frustration; I knew I should detox more in depth but felt unable to follow through with the offered solutions. Have you ever been there?

When I read this book many bits and pieces of information I already had were falling into place for me.

The Far Infrared Sauna Offers Hope

This is not just another book about how bad our toxicity level is because of our life style and toxic exposure we cannot avoid, it actually gives a pretty simple way to detox and clean out the temple for our divine soul. The message is to use the new technology of the Far Infrared Sauna and sweat it all out. (You want to read the book because you need to replenish your minerals and nurse the process along with supplement.) It is a long term approach for deep detox without overloading the detox organs like liver, kidneys, lymphatic system and blood and reactivating drug symptoms or stimulating healing crisis. It elevates your mood (raising your endorphins) and makes you feel very relaxed and so clean… I love it!

What Makes the Infrared Sauna Different?

Infrared Sauna contains the lowest end of spectrum of wavelength with the longest and most healing rays. This sauna works on a significantly lower temperature then normal sauna, between 100-150 F compared to dry or Finnish Sauna at 160-200 F. It induces 2-3 times the sweat volume then the regular sauna. It slips in through the backdoor and pulls chemicals out of subcutaneous fat layers under the skin. It lowers lactic acid, kills bacteria and parasites, penetrates tissues, reduces swelling, improves lymphatic flow, attracts calcium to cell membranes, detoxifies by vibrating ionic bonds and reduces the size of water clusters by creating a resonance dance between water and chemical molecules; it facilitates water in moving stored toxins out of the cell and into the sweat.

In research done at the Mayo clinic it has improved the cardiac status of people who were at the end of their therapeutic ropes. People who have not been able to even tolerate a hot bath were able to slowly detox with this sauna. As you know I am not a doctor but I thought this information is worth to be shared and looked into.

I am on the sauna program for 4 weeks now, since I heard from a friend about the book. I am doing it 3 times a week and my arthritis feels much better. Otherwise I cannot say much beside it really feels good and right to do it. I will give you report later on and would love to hear about your experiences as well.

I just thought how very fitting this is to all the Pisces activities this month.

Mercury Conjunction Neptune in Aquarius on Saturday 27

In Aquarius we have the availability of new technology, with Neptune we have the theme of unresolved drugs, illnesses and toxicity and with Mercury we put our mind in gear and in line with our deepest intuition and inner guidance reflected in the outside world. I think it is a “no brainer” to see the connection between toxicity and the inability of an overloaded body to function for optimum wellness. The real question is: what can you do about it? The answer is: BE SMART and detox!

You cannot leave your health in the hands and responsibility of doctors and the medical system which leans towards putting more drugs into your system, with more overload and many side effects. I don’t even want to get into the financial interest of the pharmaceutical industry, their greed and power plays. But it is obvious that you have to be wise, educate yourself and take action steps accordingly.

Wellness and health is a journey in progress, you have to constantly adjust your thinking, your emotions, learn new ways and fine tune appropriate steps of action for yourself. Meditation, relaxation, wholesome food and the right exercise program for you have to be custom tailored for you and your needs. And you are the only person who can really do that!

Sun Joins Jupiter at 9 degrees Pisces

When we have the Sun Jupiter conjunction on Sunday 28 we will feel the enthusiasm and positive outlook we will need to step up to the plate. Jupiter is well known for his overview and way to put things into a higher perspective. He represents the principle of expansion and growth and you can use this for your health. Get started! Take a first step, read the book, make yourself smart and think about your own personal wellness program you want to implement this month. If you have real health issues you want to talk to a doctor or health practitioner and get additional support from an expert with this.

Make Your Health Your Priority!

The Moon’s positions this week work very well for this. Gemini loves to read and get informed. Cancer likes to eat well and turns more inwards then usual. And Virgos are health oriented and pay close attention to the details of it.

I suggest you take some time for yourself with your journal and do some thinking and decide on some new goals. Ask yourself some questions like:

• Are you happy with your state of health?
• Do you feel fresh and energized when you wake up in the morning?
• Do you have any symptoms of pain?
• Is your thinking clear and your memory sharp?
• Do you exercise?
• How is your digestion?
• Does your body smell? Do you need to use deodorant?
• How much processed food is in your diet? Sodas, Cokes…
• Do you eat fresh unprocessed food like salads and fruits on a regular base?
• Do you drink 2 quarts of water a day?
• Do you do a yearly cleanse to pamper your body and help him to recharge?
• And many more…

Don’t get frustrated! Use the answers to these questions to motivate yourself and decide right now what you want to do. Decide on 3 action steps you will do this week. The state of your health is something you have the power to improve and change in your life. I personally love the sauna detox process because it makes me feel good. I found a spa close by with a Far Infrared Sauna and I spend quality time with my girlfriends hanging out together sweating.

Or as Abraham-Hicks puts it: “There is no state of physical decline or damage that you could not recover from–none–not any, if you knew it… If you wanted it and knew that you could. And that’s those miracles that they talk about every day. They’re not miracles at all, they are the natural order of things. But because they are rare, people think they are miraculous. They’re not. That’s the way it is supposed to be. You’re supposed to thrive.”

I hope you enjoyed this article and that it will help you on your journey of wellness.

Enjoy and have fun, aloha and many blessings, Shakti.

Brainwave Entrainment Mind Power – Does Hypnosis Work?

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

For three main reasons, many people believe that hypnosis does not actually work. And this article will not only discuss with you the possible reasons why this is so, it will also give you some alternatives for you to consider when thinking about improving yourself through mental optimization. For one thing, hypnosis is a very general sort of application and you are not able to fully grasp the dynamics of this technology. Generally, many people are not very agreeable in placing the most powerful aspect of their mind in the hands of someone else, there has to be plenty of trust in this regard and normally, the hypnotist is someone you have barely met in the first place.

There have been plenty of cases when hypnotists have used their craft for devious methods, like getting into their personal information, getting their personal security codes or making them give up private and very sensitive information for their own benefit. Another thing about this is that most of the time, the power of hypnosis is very much limited in the sense that the mind will not do something that it does not want to. There is much a huge mental block here, because hypnosis is a very blunt instrument going into a very complex mind and once you understand that, you will know how ineffective it can be. The mind is a very complicated instrument, and there are so many dynamics to think about when considering how to best influence the mind, something as general as hypnosis cannot possible enter the subconscious as effectively as much of the other methods out there.

Firstly, there is initial resistance, in the fact that the end user is in a strange environment and the mind is very much resistant to any sort of hypnosis at the very start. What happens is that after a few times of therapy, the mind becomes more accustomed to be slipping into a sort of elevated peripheral consciousness. The last reason why there is no fundamental good in hypnosis is that there is no way to measure the benefits. There are no readings, no date to refer to at all and because of this, there is no exact science to consider and measure the tangible benefits.

What you get is the perceived results, which can be anything from the mind convincing itself that there has been some sort of progress. At the end of the day, hypnosis is not a good way to go and if you really are serious about taking your mind programming and improving yourself a step further, you need to be considering technology like brainwave entrainment, engineered sound, binaural beats and packaged stimulation which allows for the subconscious mind to be directly stimulated. The good thing about this technology is that there are established results, and measurements on how to track you progress. There is also a host of research of development in these technologies. Cheap, easy to use and easily available – hypnosis has become irrelevant.

Ever get the feeling that something is not right? That gut feeling that tells you something bad is about to happen? We all do from time to time. Usually it’s triggered from some event that is going on in our lives such as financial problems, relationship or health issues although many times there is no “trigger” or “cause” for these feelings. Nevertheless, it happens and we deal with it knowing the feeling will pass.

Imagine though, living with this horrible feeling all the time. While others seemingly
go about their lives in relative peace, the person suffering from Generalized Anxiety Disorder is filled with anxious and worried thoughts that take up their every waking moment. Like a radio playing in the background, their mind is in a state of uneasiness and apprehension that never shuts off. Even though they realize that their anxiety is excessive and extreme they cannot seem to control it.

The emotional fear is disruptive and often the person will exaggerate a situation such as
a loved one being 10 or 15 minutes late into an intense fear that they have been in an accident.

Some Signs and Symptoms of (GAD)

Difficulty controlling worry.

Restlessness or feeling on edge.

Easily fatigued.

Incessant mind chatter.

Difficulty concentrating or mind going blank.

Headaches, trembling or twitching.

Irritability.

Muscle tension.

Feelings of dread.

Sleep disturbances.

Some things you can do to help yourself:

Talking: Find someone you can trust and talk about it. If you can unburden yourself and
let some of the feelings out it can help reduce the anxiety and lighten the load.

Exercise: Regular exercise can be a useful tool and leave you feeling more energetic.

Meditation: Meditation and relaxation techniques are very effective when dealing
with stress and anxiety. They provide strategies to help you peacefully calm down and relax.

Avoid Negative Media: TV, radio, magazines and the internet can provide you with daily doses of negativity that help lower your mood even further.

Listen to music: Music can have a very calming and soothing effect on the body.

Lose the Guilt: Guilt is self-destructive and brings on more anxiety and depression. Don’t compare yourself to other people.

Keep a Journal: writing down your thoughts and ideas and getting it off your chest can be one of the most helpful things you can do.

Living with Generalized Anxiety Disorder:
Living with GAD is like living life on the edge. You can never relax or seem to have fun the way other people do. Friends and family sometimes label you as pessimistic
and unenthusiastic. You don’t want to feel this way and the labels hurt. You feel as though you are carrying the world on your shoulders and feel like crying for no apparent reason. Most of all you feel as though others see you as weak. You are not. And you are not alone. Generalized Anxiety Disorder is a common mental illness that affects about 18% of the American population every year. Effective therapies are available and new research is being done everyday.

In our everyday state, where we think, decide, criticize, plan, and engage– we are experiencing the beta brainwave frequency. As adults, we spend an inordinate amount of time zooming along in these low amplitude, fast sound waves.

When we are in these waves, we are fairly disconnected from the universal mind, so any thoughts that manifest, are our own.

The only way our thoughts can influence the universal mind or cosmic consciousness, is to communicate through our subconscious mind, which stands between our thoughts, and the place that takes our orders.

If you are wanting to manifest or attract a desire, the thought starts out in your conscious mind where you reason and think it out logically and then it goes to your subconscious mind which hands it over to the universal mind, or the superconscious.

Your conscious mind gives orders to your subconscious mind which sends the message out into the ether for manifestation if it sounds feasible.

Certain things have to be in place before the subconscious mind will send the message out.

Your conscious mind has to believe in what it is asking for, and most importantly, it has to bring the request right up to the doorway between the frequencies, before the subconscious is impressed, and the request is taken seriously.

Just thinking about a desire is not enough to make it manifest in the world.

The key to having the universe hear your message, is about being in the right brainwave frequency.

Brainwave entrainment is a scientifically proven technology that introduces sound and/or light pulses to the brain with the intention of altering its state of consciousness.

Because the brain naturally follows any repeated, rhythmic stimulus, entrainment can shift consciousness in as little as 6 minutes.

Getting your message to the universe is a whole lot easier if you use brainwave entrainment because it helps you hold onto the proper frequency for a sustain length of time so that you can engrain and impress the subconscious, who in turn, passes on your message to the universal mind, who makes it manifest into the physical world.

The only way your thoughts can influence the universal mind, the cosmic consciousness, the collective unconscious, or the source, is through the subconscious.

You cannot impress your message on the subconscious when you are in the brainwave you usually use in everyday living.

The gateway frequency to the subconscious relaxes your body, while enhancing your creative mind, which shuts out the critical, judgemental state of your conscious mind.

The key to having your message heard by the universe is about communication. If you are in the right brainwave frequency to give your message to the guard at the gate, your subconscious, your message will be heard.

Brainwave entrainment can put you into the right brainwave frequency. Your message will be heard.
