Similarly, a minor league baseball player may be very nervous the first time he plays in a major league contest.

Many athletes learn to overcome this anxiety simply by playing in a lot of events. Competing frequently on a regular basis helps them to sort out what they need to do and change in order to “enter the zone” and perform to their fullest potential.

Recently, a twelve year old very talented tennis player came to this author’s office as she was quite anxious about an upcoming national tennis tournament.

She expressed worries over the level of competition, the size of the crowd, the importance of the event and the travel associated with this tournament.

She was also very concerned about performing poorly and disappointing her parents.

To help her to relax, several strategies were suggested and implemented.

First, she decided it would be best if her parents did not watch her play.

Second, she utilized music prior to stepping on the court to fine her energy and her rhythm.

Third, and perhaps most important, she needed to develop some perspective on the importance of this event.

Since her goal is to be a professional tennis player, this author told her that there is “no reason to be nervous.”

She was reminded that on her journey to being a professional tennis player, she will play in hundreds of tournaments. This reminder made it easy for her to have some perspective on this “upcoming big event.” And this advice helped her to reduce the intensity and the meaning that she was assigning to this tournament.

The patient noted, “I never looked at it that way before. This sure makes a lot of sense.”

Our mysterious third eye was pondered by mystics through the ages, and has long been believed to be the source of a higher inner vision.

The pineal works in direct harmony with your hypothalamus gland – the director of thirst, hunger, sexual desire, and the biological clock controlling your aging process.

The pineal secretes melatonin when you are relaxed and visualizing, and also responds to electromagnetic energy. What does self-care mean to you? What pictures come to mind when you think of the words ‘self-care’? It usually means something very different for different people. Some of the responses I’ve had when I’ve asked people what it means to them include

· Taking time out for me

· Eating healthy

· Exercising

· Having a massage

which are all great answers!

Self-care to me means simply looking after your whole self, not because you ‘have to’ but because you want to, because it feels good to do so and because you like looking after your own needs as well as other people’s and it is such an important thing to do for yourself. We can only give to others when we have plenty within us to give. If you let yourself get run down, tired, de-hydrated, lacking in nutrients, mentally exhausted and a tired body, you simply cannot enjoy life nor can you be there for the important people in your life.

By taking care of yourself properly, you reduce stress in your own life. You increase happiness, you create a healthier body and mind and you feel more satisfied with life in general. Self-care has also helps prevent burnout, but most importantly, self-care shows you that you are indeed an important person. That your needs matter just as much as anyone else’s needs and that it’s not selfish or self-indulgent to take time out for yourself – it’s simply showing yourself some self-respect.

There’s a difference between eating fast food just because you’re hungry and need a quick fix, compared with making yourself a delicious and nutritious meal. Fast food is taking care of the hunger part of your body, but the nutritious meal is taking care of all of yourself; your hunger, but also your body and mind. You can have a quick shower to get clean or you can prepare a warm bath with some Epsom Salts and essential oils and have a soak. Again, these both achieve the goal of getting clean, but the bath is taking care of all of you – allowing you to relax, unwind, have time out and also get clean, instead of the rush that a quick rinse off in the shower will give you.

Often ladies will tell me that the reason they don’t do much in the way of self-care is because it’s either too expensive or they don’t have time. It is true that some self-care activities can be expensive but there’s plenty of other things you can do also. Facials, massages, manicures, retreats, yoga classes etc. can all be wonderful ways of taking care of yourself, but of course they come with a price tag. For these type of items, you may want to put a little money aside each week and treat yourself on a quarterly basis for example. Giving yourself these same types of luxuries at home though can be relatively inexpensive and yet you’ll still feel great after doing them.

And yes, sometimes self-care actions are impracticable on a daily basis – no, we don’t all have time to soak in the bath for an hour every day, but there are many self-care actions that you can introduce that can quickly become habits in your life, and other actions you may want to schedule in time for on a weekly or fortnightly basis.

Some cheap, quick and easy ideas for self-care can include:

· Swapping your morning coffee for a slice of lemon in hot water

· Giving yourself a hand massage and manicure

· Taking a nap

· Drawing, painting, creating etc.

· Listen to music

· Meditate

· Going for a walk on the beach (or your other fav place)

· Investing in a foam roller and giving your aching muscles a massage

· Exercising

· Preparing a healthy and nutritious meal

· Reading

· Start a compliment jar. When someone says something nice to or about you, write it down and pop it in your compliments jar. Every now and then re-read through all the beautiful things people think about you

· Stretch your body; or even better find a yoga workout on YouTube and treat your body to that

· Get some sunshine

· Go for a swim

· Slow down. Walk slower than you usually do, put your phone away and try to spot 5 beautiful things in your environment

· Keep a gratitude and accomplishments journal. Each day, write 5 things that you’re grateful for and anything you’re proud of accomplishing that day

· Give yourself a facial

Other aspects of self-care include things like regular doctor, dentist, option appointments for example. Is there some minor health issue that’s been bothering you but you seem to never get around to making that doctor’s appointment? If it was your child or family member, would you make sure they got checked out?

Self-care is often the first thing to get neglected when you become busy, tired or stressed and yet it’s the very thing that you should be turning to at these times. Many people treat self-care as a type of reward or treat, but if you start incorporating self-care into your daily and weekly routines, you’ll begin to notice great improvements in your life. If you’re feeling stressed or you’ve forgotten what self-care feels like, take some time today to pick out a couple of activities you can do every day that is caring just for you and then pick out another maybe lengthier activity you can do on a weekly basis.

Approximately 300,000 years ago a great war was fought throughout the Universe between the Family of Light and beings of Darkness. This war was spoken of in the Bible as a war among the angels. One of the planets being fought over was our Earth. Unfortunately for mankind, the beings of Darkness won control.

When the Dark forces took over, they changed mankind genetically so he had use of only two helixes. This brought mankind into a period of density and ignorance. These Dark forces who now control this section of the Universe feed on negative emotions such as fear, anger, and hate. With so many people currently changing their consciousness, this is cutting down on the ‘food’ for these beings. They have mastered the ability to generate the emotions they need among man.

Many people are afraid to leave their homes these days because of the dangers. Robberies, muggings, rapes, and murders are all on the increase. This provides them with food. The music today is full of anger and violence. This provides them with food. And look at our television. Watching a news program about the atrocities occurring in Rwanda, Haiti and other places causes you to feel fear and anger. This provides them with food. The movies being shown today are extremely violent and bloody. This generates many negative emotions in the person watching them. This provides them with food.

When you, as a member of the Family of Light engage in any of these emotions, you are providing food for these beings of Darkness. We need to become aware of this and learn to control our negative emotions. It is necessary when viewing the horrors occurring on our earth to stay detached emotionally. You can dislike what is happening and do something to change it, but do not allow any negative emotions to surface to be used as food.

We have come onto the planet at this time to help return the frequency of love and to remove the frequency of negative emotions. To do this, we must learn to control our own emotions and to show others by example how to do the same. This is essential to assist the Family of Light to regain control of this part of our Universe and move us into our next level of Being.

One thing we can do on a daily basis is to spend time meditating and sending Love and Light into our troubled neighborhoods and countries. If enough of us are spreading love through the Universe, it will overcome the Darkness and help to bring in the Light. The more Light there will be and the beings of Darkness will have to enter the Light also. This is our purpose for being here at this time.

Many people I know, including myself, have been feeling lately as if they are stuck and not progressing. They feel a real restlessness and a sense of not knowing where they are supposed to be and what they are supposed to be doing. I have come to the conclusion that what we are supposed to be doing right now is bringing in the Light so we can make the leap to the next level.

The time for this leap is upon us, but it will not occur until enough Light has been anchored into the Earth. Many, many beings from other realms are assisting us and have an investment in the outcome. As we on Earth make our leap into the next level of Being, they too will make a leap in Consciousness. It is as important to these other members of the Family of Light for us to make this shift as it is for us.

What is your Mental Program?

Have you received a set of instructions that you must perform? Embedded deep within your brain may be an executable list of commands. Your response may occur from either an internal or external stimulus. These programs can vary in length however they may run constantly, with no end in sight.

Mental programs are mostly subconscious and disseminated completely without the recipient’s knowledge. We have now correlated the seven solfa syllables (intents) to the seven major chakras. When you are ready for the next chakra, you will use the 417 Hz tuning fork and meditate on the syllable “re” and its intent to resonate with the divine mind. Basically, the same pattern is repeated with each chakra except that a different tuning fork and a different syllable, each with its own unique frequency and intent, is matched to each successive chakra.
