sleep meditation How You Can Alleviate a Stiff Neck

Meditation music is music performed to aid in the practice of meditation. It can have a specific religious content, but also more recently has been associated with modern composers who use meditation techniques in their process of composition, or who compose such music with no particular religious group as a focus.

Nearly everyone experiences a stiff neck once in a while. Although this condition is usually nothing serious, it can be uncomfortable and even painful and may lay you up for a day or two. Fortunately, there are ways that may help alleviate that stiff neck safely and easily!

Cold Therapy and Heat Therapy

You can put ice on the area of stiffness to help decrease the pain and any inflammation. Ice works by numbing the area creating an analgesic, or pain-relieving effect. Hold the ice pack on your neck and keep it in place for 10 minutes. Never put ice directly onto your skin so wrap it in a towel and do not keep it there for too long because nerve damage can occur. Use this ice therapy every two hours until the pain is gone.

You can use heat, such as a heating pad, to improve circulation and ease neck muscle stiffness by opening up blood vessels allowing blood flow. But keep your heating pad set to “low” and be careful not to keep it on for too long to avoid burns.

Many people find it very effective to alternate between the cold therapy and the heat therapy. Use the cold for 10 minutes and then, about two hours later, use the heat. Continue that rotation until you feel relief.

Relax

Muscle tension can be triggered by stress. If you think stress is your problem, find ways you can reduce your stress using relaxation techniques.

Try going to a quiet place and sit or lie down with your eyes closed. Do this once every three hours for at least 30 minutes at a time to rest your muscles, de-stress and relieve tension.

When working, take frequent breaks. If your job requires you to be sitting for long hours or standing in an uncomfortable position, get up and walk for a few minutes every hour. Take the time to do some full-body stretches.

You can also take meditation or yoga classes. Try to develop your own methods of relaxation, like reading a book or listening to music. Do things you believe will work for you.

Get a Massage

Massage is said to be effective in easing tensed muscles. And many people love them! Use an essential, tension-relieving oil such as eucalyptus spearmint massage oil and rub it on your neck using the fingers and applying moderate pressure. With the help of another person, massage your neck in long, downward strokes using firm pressure.

Good Posture

Posture plays a major role with neck pain. The head and spine should always be in balance and properly aligned. When you have a poor posture, the neck curves forward resulting to a strained position.

Prevent stiff neck by improving your posture. Keep your chin in an appropriate level, stand with your back straight and feet flat on the floor. Picture a string running up through your body and being held taut to keep you upright.

Exercises for the Neck

Range of motion exercises may be helpful in easing your stiff neck. Sit straight with muscles relaxed. Turn your head to the right, but don’t turn it past your shoulder, and hold it for 5 seconds, then return to the center. Do this exercise to the left side, also, again, not turning past your shoulder. Then drop your chin towards the chest slowly, hold it for a while and return back up. Range of motion exercises should be done three times a day, every day.

Pain Reliever

Over-the-counter drugs like ibuprofen and aspirin can help in alleviating pain and inflammation. But, it is still advisable to ask for your doctor’s advice regarding medications to make sure that it is safe for you.

Sleep on a firm mattress

A stiff neck can be cause by bad sleeping positions, or the wrong kind of pillow or mattress. Use a firm mattress when sleeping and be sure that your head is kept aligned with the spine. Avoid sleeping on your stomach and don’t use pillows that are too thick.

It is a scientific fact that sound stimulates our mind, it has the power to change our moods, trigger emotions and imagination and even go so far as to alter our states of perception.

Our mind responds to our brainwave frequencies – the electrical pulses in our brain determine which brain wave state we are presently working in.

The most commonly categorized frequencies are;Beta, Alpha, Theta & Delta.

The Rooms of our Mind

An easy way to understand this is to imagine you are stood in the center of a circular room, there are several different colored open doorways around this room. Each doorway leads to a hall set with its own ambiance and powers.

The Alpha Hall…

Imagine we walk through the green doorway, you notice above the doorway is the sign; ‘Alpha Hall’. In the Alpha hall there is a lovely relaxing atmosphere, you can hear soft bells ringing and birds singing all around you, the air is fresh and clean. There are many things to look at that remind you of the different parts of your life. All around there are comfortable sofas, cushions and chairs inviting you to sit in them and rest. In this room you can focus on everything very deeply and you feel a sense of understanding. You are very relaxed and soothed and can’t help but settle into one of the soft, plush sofas and allow yourself to soak up the atmosphere. You find you are able to sort though the thoughts in your mind and make better judgments and decisions.

The Beta Hall…

After a while and feeling wonderfully refreshed you leave the alpha hallway and return to the circular room, you then enter through the red doorway and see the sign above ‘Beta Hall’. This room has an electric, vibrant atmosphere and you instantly feel an energy rush. There are clocks ticking, office desks, computers, phones ringing, gym equipment and lots of interesting activities ready for you to work with. You feel alive and ready to take on the world. Ideas begin to form in your mind and you decide which activity you are going to perform first.

The Theta Hall…

When you leave the Beta hall and return to the circular room you decide to go though the purple colored doorway. Above is the sign; ‘Theta Hall’. When you enter the Theta hall your body starts to feel weightless. You begin to forget the immediate things on your mind and your present circumstances, instead you see yourself in a more meaningful way, as though you have taken a step back and have reached the control center of your being. You feel you can conjure up various situations and surroundings, almost as though you are in a dream state. It’s a magical room where anything is possible. In this hall you can study your life and behavior from a new perspective and understand and decide on the things you need in your life back in the circular room.

The Delta Hall…

Back in the circular room you enter though the blue doorway, above is the sign; ‘Delta Hall’. Inside the Delta hall it is as though it were night with a bright moon and sparkling stars in the sky. There is a distant singing that sounds like angels are serenading you. You immediately feel drowsy and notice there are beds and resting places all around. The atmosphere feels safe and healing, any pain you have seems to melt away. You rest in a soft, downy bed and allow the warmth to soak into you and feel a wonderful healing energy enter your body. You drift away into a rejuvenating deep sleep.

Brainwave Entrainment Meditation For Those Who Like It Simple

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

Although I practice meditation on a regular basis I myself am no stranger to the endless chatter of the inside voice that must speak due to stress, nagging, worry, or just simple overload.

In order to find my zen at a moments notice or a need to escape, quiet and calm I have devised a simple and quick method for even the loudest and most stubborn chatter.

Binaural beats are a brainwave entrainment technology designed to put your brain into the same activity state as when you are using traditional mediation techniques. Many people especially beginners to meditation often become lost and despondent and there fore give up on meditation missing out on the benefits of this luxurious and organic state of tranquility and resolve.

Brainwave entrainment will lead you to the meditative state easily and quickly. It allows anyone and everyone to use meditation as a tool for personal growth, relaxation or spiritual practice. All you need is a pair headphones and an MP3 player! You can search for Binaural Beats Meditations in YouTube and or find several downloads.

Listen to binaural beats when you want to go towards a meditative state, relax, obtain clarity of the mind, engage your intuition for spiritual alignment as well as repeating affirmations and doing guided imagery or simple visualization.

One can also incorporate Ujjyi breathing. This is a breathing technique also known as Ocean Breathing. To begin inhale slowly through the nose with your mouth closed, filling your body with oxygen starting at the lower belly, to the ribs, to the chest, to the throat. Now exhale through the nose, starting at the throat, to the chest, to the ribs, to the lower belly. Use this amazing technique for relaxing muscles and slowing heart rate, creating a sense of calm and peace within the mind and body.

I do suggest to begin with your Ujjyi breathing a few moments before you start to listen to your binaural beats and than to continue with the use of this breath throughout the session.

I recommend finding a binaural meditation between 7 to 15 minutes in order to begin and to try a minimum of once per day in order to begin a routine of solace and quiet for your soul…

Incorporating the usage of essential oils can help aid in creating a relaxing space as well lead you towards a routine infused with serenity. Peace and Calming by Young Living is my preferred essential oil whilst in a state of meditation.

Peace & Calming?essential oil is a gentle, sweet blend of Ylang Ylang, Orange, Tangerine, Patchouli, and Blue Tansy. This fragrant oil is a wonderful addition to your meditation, evening routine, or playtime with the kids. With a comforting, fresh aroma, Peace & Calming oil creates a relaxing environment that’s especially great for homes with children. This multipurpose oil can be used as part of your children’s bedtime routine, and then for yourself to enjoy the quiet that comes with a household of little dreamers tucked safely in bed.

For those of you that prefer a guided meditation, please turn on your diffuser, sit in a relaxing space and begin your Ujjyi breath, now start your Binaural beats and read carefully with your eyes open or closed.

Take a deep breath in… slow breath out. Relax all the muscles in your body. Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale… Allow your breath to take you deeper and deeper into relaxation… Allow your body to feel heavy… as though you are sinking into the floor… Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale… Imagine you are standing on a beautiful fluffy clouds… There, in the middle cloud, is a delicate bubble. You slowly walk to the bubble and begin to tap it with your finger tips gently. Back and forth… up and down and around the fluffy cloud. Notice how playing with the bubble makes you feel… Now imagine any negative feelings you have are inside the bubble… Anger… Frustration… Sadness… Stress… Anxiety… There they are, huddled together, inside the bubble you are gently tapping… Back and forth… up and down and around the fluffy cloud. On your tap, you lift your arm SUPER high… and tap the bubble away in to the sky and away from your cloud. There it goes… flying through the air… taking your negative emotions with it. The bubble lands softly on another cloud. They are gone… all of those negative emotions you were feeling are gone. You feel so much better… so much more relaxed… Your heart is full of love… happiness… You smile as you look to the other side of the sky and see your negative emotions so far away from you. Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale… Take a deep breath in and imagine your whole body filling up with love and happiness. You deserve to feel love… to feel happiness… Inhale… Exhale… Inhale… Exhale…
Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain? ?requency following?response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.

This ?requency following?response of brainwave entrainment can be seen in action with those prone to epilepsy. If a strobe flashes at their seizure frequency, the brain will ?ntrain?to the flashing light, resulting in a seizure.

On the positive side, this same mechanism is commonly used to induce many brainwave states; such as a trance, enhanced focus, relaxation, meditation or sleep induction. The brainwave entrainment effectively pushes the entire brain into a certain state.

Brainwave entrainment works for almost everyone. It is a great way to lead your mind into states that you might usually have difficulty reaching, allowing you to experience what those states feel like.

THE HYPE
There is a lot of marketing hype around brainwave entrainment. It is sold with promises of increasing IQ, promoting weight loss, ?ind-tripping? enhancing creativity, concentration, inducing spiritual states and more.

While these claims are not entirely true, they are not altogether false either. In practice, the claims are based on an overly-simplistic view of how the brain and the brainwaves function.
THE RUB
People are very seldom deficient in a certain brainwave type in all areas of their brain. Usually the distribution is much spottier, with an excess in one area and a deficiency in another.

We are all different, especially when it comes to the distribution of our brainwaves. Boosting a certain brainwave state may be beneficial for one person, and emotionally uncomfortable for another. Without knowing each person? starting position, entrainment can be rather ?it and miss?

If brainwave entrainment leaves you with unwanted side-effects (see below) or discomfort, you?e probably encouraging a range of brainwaves that are already excessive in some area of your brain. The way around this is to get a brain map to see what your brain? strengths and weaknesses are, and see what (if any) brainwaves could use some encouragement.

Do you have trouble getting a good night’s sleep? Is a lack of sleep contributing to exhaustion and stress during the day? Do you have trouble relaxing? If so, binaural sleep meditation is a highly effective way to help you to consistently achieve a great night’s sleep while also helping you to enjoy a relaxed, stress-free state of mind during your waking hours.

What is Binaural Sleep Meditation?

Binaural sleep meditation is a simple technique that combines binaural beats and relaxing sounds to help you experience a great night’s sleep. Decades of scientific research have shown that binaural beats can be used to tune our brainwave frequency into an extremely relaxed state that easily allows us to achieve a sound, restful night’s sleep.

How are Binaural Beats Used in Binaural Sleep Meditation?

Binaural sleep meditation technique uses an audio track of calming relaxation music that is listened to through a set of headphones. Underneath the layer of relaxation music are binaural beats of two different frequencies, one for each ear. These two frequencies cause the brain to tune into a frequency associated the with deep, meditative state of relaxation and natural pre-sleep drowsiness that we need in order to fall asleep and stay sound asleep.

Benefits of Binaural Beat Meditation

Binaural sleep therapy not only helps you to achieve restful sleep, but also has a number of side benefits that can enhance your state of well being during your waking hours as well. These additional benefits include:

-Increased levels of energy

-Improved concentration and mental clarity

-The ability to remain more calm in the face of stressful situations

-Heightened creativity

New users of binaural beat meditation are often pleasantly surprised to experience deep relaxation and meditative states within minutes of listening to a track, accompanied by a welcome, restful night of sleep.

In my own experience, I have found that using these binaural sleep techniques for a few weeks actually conditions my mind to achieve the state of pre-sleep drowsiness and relaxation I need on my own. However, I continue to listen to binaural tracks on a regular basis in the morning as well as at night simply because of how effective they are in helping me to achieve states of deep relaxation and alertness during the day.

As we know stress is a daily enemy. We are constantly bombarded with stress in our jobs, with our family, and with more frequent bleak economic conditions.

Have you been looking in the mirror and thinking “My, my has my face aged recently?!” It has been proven that your skin is one of the best indicators that you are experiencing stress.

Some of our skin’s alarming reactions to stress might be:

1) a change in color and texture from healthy and radiant to sallow and dull,

2) dreadful flare ups in the form of rashes, pimples, rosacea, eczema, and reactive redness, and

3) more noticeable wrinkles and/or stiffness of the face, instead of calm, relaxed and smooth skin.

Basic signs of rosacea are:

** flushed red skin,

** raised red patches and bumps, and

** noticeable blood vessels.

Basic signs of acne are:

** black heads,

** white heads,

** red skin, and

** pimples.

Basic signs of reactive redness are:

** dry, flaky skin,

** inflamed patchy spots, and

** areas of redness.

These outbreaks can be caused by increased oil production; heightened levels of cortisol (which affects fluid retention), excess salt retention, and excessive fat metabolism. Some of the common culprits that create these chemical imbalances are:

** stress,

** the sun,

** alcohol consumption,

** eating spicy foods,

** washing our face with water that is too hot,

** washing our face with water that has contaminants such as trace heavy metals,

** cold weather, and

** allergies to skin products.

When human beings experience stress our hearts start to beat faster and the speed or pace at which you breath increases. These two changes infer with oxygen circulation and cause the formation of free radicals that will break down elastin and collagen. Elastin and Collagen are two of the most important support factors for firm, toned skin.

Other factors that affect skin health are:

** sleep deprivation,

** erratic or skipped meals, and

** eating unhealthy foods such as those containing too much salt, sugar, or saturated fat.

Let’s get the stress, pain, and frustration off of your face. Use your own inner powers to create a state of peace, filled with self-enlightenment. This will foster a glowing facial canvas.

O.K. so how do we paint this healthy picture. The following elements work wonders for stressed out skin:

#1. Exercise regularly to relieve anxiety.

#2. Get more sleep and try to have the same sleep pattern each night (i.e. go to bed, and get up at consistent times each day).

#3. Be mindful of your diet by planning ahead and resisting the temptation of poor food choices.

#4. Indulge in relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, massage, yoga, meditation and listening to soothing music.

#5. Get Aesthetic facial massage treatments (using specialized equipment performed by an aesthetician) which have been FDA approved for facial toning and stimulation.

#6. Apply cool compresses to your face.

#7. Be mindful of using gentle, soothing soap or facial cleansers and fragrance free skin products.

#8. Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day (yes, you really have to do this).

So pamper your facial canvas. Control your stress level through a regular exercise program because exercise releases endorphins making it easier to follow the other good skin guidelines. For an added measure, you might take a multivitamin daily.

Brainwave Entrainment How Long Before You Feel The Effects Of Brainwave Entrainment?

Brainwave entrainment is a method to stimulate the brain into entering a specific state by using a pulsing sound, light, or electromagnetic field. The pulses elicit the brain’s ‘frequency following’ response, encouraging the brainwaves to align to the frequency of a given beat.
guided sleep | meditation soundtrack
Brainwave entrainment has been scientifically studied for over 75 years. It was found that when specific frequencies or sound patterns are introduced to the brain deliberately, it was possible to induce a different state of consciousness, which in turn produces a different state of mind.

Faster brainwave frequencies, introduced through entrainment, can alter the brain to become sharper, more in focus and hyper alert. Slower brainwave frequencies can induce a hypnogogic state–awake mind/body asleep state, perfect for meditation. Even slower brainwave frequencies can induce sleep.

Brainwave entrainment introduces rhythmic, repeated sound and/or visual stimulus to the brain with the intention of altering its state of consciousness. Because of the brain’s natural tendency to follow repeated, rhythmic stimulus, brainwave entrainment is very effective.

How quickly a user feels the effects depends on the type of entrainment, how long the user has listened to the session, and the user’s intentions.

If a specific brainwave entrainment recording is practiced daily, over a period of time, new neural pathways will develop in the brain, changing the way information is processed, in a permanent fashion.

For instance, if the user listens to an entrainment recording to lower stress, new neural connections will form in a new area of the brain that will become the default when they encounter a stressful situation. Entrainment helps the user cope better, therefore perceiving less stress. Less stress means that the brain doesn’t panic and release an over-production of stress hormones, damaging the body.

What You Could Feel With Any Entrainment Session

You’ll feel your consciousness changing within 6 minutes of beginning any of the many types of sessions. That means, you’ll feel a sense of deep relaxation and well-being.
As you listen, you may notice that you will begin to drift. How you perceive time will change-it may feel stretched out.
Tingles or pressure on the body or in your head may begin as you start to entrain.
No matter how many times you listen to a session, you will feel calmer, more relaxed, in control, energized, and motivated, in your normal waking life.

How Long Does It Take To Feel The Effects?

This is an individual experience.
It will take as long as needed for you. How long did it take you to learn to ride a bike?
Most users feel a direct effect within 6 minutes from the start of the session.
First time users may take longer to feel the effects.
Mindset is everything. If you go into this feeling that it won’t work– it won’t.
When you listen to a recording, you must try to empty your mind.

There are six principles of caregiving and six principles of self care. This article introduces the first principle of self care, FIT. For a caregiver to be well balanced and focused in life, all six principles of self care need to be practiced. The other six principles of self care will be addressed in future articles and are FUN, FREE, FAMILY, FINANCE, and FUTURE.

To be FIT we need to balance all three parts of ourselves; body, spirit and mind. Our body, spirit and mind each need three things; fuel, exercise and rest. When we are in balance, our focus and caring are more easily maintained. What works for one caregiver may not work for another caregiver. What works at one time in your life may not work in another. Using The Heart of Caregiving 1-2-3 System will provide lasting benefits.

Focusing on body first, what kind of fuel works best for you? What are your beliefs and realities for the food and drink that you choose? What food choices give you optimum energy or make you lethargic or grumpy? Are you hydrating yourself and taking the time you need for your own rest, toileting and hygiene? Are there medications that need to be included in your food and hydration plan? Do you need help to think about your body?

For exercise examples; in my earlier years, my primary transportation was my bicycle and I was happiest when I danced six hours daily and played beach volleyball a few hours, several times each week. Now a ten minute bounce, an hour walk, a bit of grounding gardening are complimented with weekly dancing. Other adventures could be Pilates or Kickboxing classes, biking, rock climbing, hot tub, sauna, or swim. Many exercises, especially, Qi Gong and Yoga are beneficial for all three parts of ourselves; body, spirit and mind.

Our caregiving spirits are fueled by both meditative time and creative space. For some caregivers this refueling is being in nature and for other caregivers it is daydreaming. Expressing ourselves with art by making things or reading something inspirational; like a story, a poem, a quote, or other inspirational guides provide exercise for the spirit. Inspiration may come from listening to music, watching a video or movie, praying, giving to others and being in community. Sometimes, simply being aware of another person’s perspective can be uplifting. Resting our spirit by letting go, to a greater source, is healthy.

In my experience, the mind with a positive mental attitude will bring success every time. Freedom from fear is very liberating and possible. An open mind on all subjects and toward all people is worth striving for. This self discipline of openness will allow us to grow the wisdom of understanding people, while being engaged in the labor of love, caregiving. Often we need to take time to reflect, realiize and remember the strengths we have to offer. The willingness to share blessings with others may best guide our actions and build our faith. This faith will grow our hope of future achievement and provide financial security.

The FIT Tip; 1) Daily be with yourself. 2) Use a 15 minute timer to write in a journal. 3) Use the acronym, RICE to guide you into daily habits with lasting change. R.I.C.E.=Re-evaluate Intimacy (with self and others), Communicate changes and Exercise them. Intimacy is a shorter way of asking if you are living your life authentically and to your purpose. Remember, body, spirit and mind need fuel, exercise and rest.

Body Spirit Mind need Fuel Exercise Rest. Success=BSM+FER

There are many people working with the law of attraction and there are just as many trying to teach you how to do it, or saying they have just the right technique for you to be able to master it. Let me just say that the techniques are great, but in the end all you need is your focused intentions.

I am speaking from experience here, I have felt all of these feelings, and thought all of these thoughts. What I have found out, is that we are here having a human experience, and we like to complicate everything, we like to get caught up in our thoughts and all the drama in life. This is where we fail at the law of attraction. Myself included. This is what I have learned.

It is very important to take control of my thoughts as soon as I wake up, I want to start positive so I can attract more positive. I heard it said, and I’m not sure who said it but it is brilliant, stay positive until 10 am and the rest of the day will look after itself. It’s true. Positive affirmations may sound silly, but they are very powerful in attracting good to you. I start every day off with an affirmation, I even take it one step further and add a vision to that affirmation. For example if I were trying to manifest money, I would say, I say yes to all the new opportunities that come my way today to generate income. I will then envision myself with money floating all around me, and just stay with that as long as I can. The trick is to bring all of these thoughts and visions into your heart and feel that energy.

The next step is to go about your day, staying in tune with what you want, and keeping your energy and vibrational level high. In other words, stay with the heart energy, do things from the heart, listen to the heart. When things start to show up that are not in alignment with what you want……..in other words the exact opposite of what you want…….simply say thank you and don’t give it any other energy. When we put thought into why did this show up, or I don’t want that, what we are doing is giving it energy, anything we give energy to will grow. Meaning you will attract more of it. Perhaps it is showing up to let you recognize it and say no, I want this, specifically. The law of attraction is very specific in fact its exact. Look at what showed up and look at exactly what you asked for and exactly where your thoughts have been.

This is the frustrating part, this is where people give up, this is where people begin to think they just can’t do it or just aren’t deserving enough. One of the laws states that we are willing to sacrifice for what we want, that includes our thoughts. That includes constantly looking for “the good “to show up. That also includes giving up anything that blocks us from having what we want such as limiting beliefs or even physical things we have that we are holding onto. We need to release the old in order to make room for the new. So when the old keeps showing up, just say no, that’s not what I want.

I have been trying to manifest a new car, which requires money. My old car was continually breaking down costing me money I wanted to be saving to get a new one. I was always asking how can I save money for a car, when I am always putting it out for repairs. Then I got a brain wave thought, I had to give up the old in order to make room for the new. The brakes went on the car last week, and without any resentment or anger I simply took it off the road, and said you are done. I became grateful for what the car had done for me over the years. I was grateful for learning this value able lesson. I was grateful that I was healthy enough to walk until the said new car shows up. I started to realize how lucky I was. I also was finally able to really start dreaming about the new car I wanted. Prior to this, it was a passing fancy, but now it’s real, I can feel myself driving it, I can feel how comfortable and safe I feel in it. That is real manifesting thoughts.

What my problem was that I was too caught up in the past, with what I already had, that was making me unhappy. With that I could not focus my thoughts on what I wanted.

You see even if we think we are doing a great job with our thoughts and energy we always have work to do. In fact this is often the only work we have to do in order to receive what it is we have asked for. The journey is about preparing ourselves to receive, about learning what is blocking us and removing those blocks. That is work enough in itself.

Next time you see something show up that is opposite of what you want, don’t get down, don’t get negative and don’t beat yourself up about it. Simply recognize it, and move on. Train your eye to look only for the good, and to be very grateful for what is in your life. Make a list each day of what your grateful for. There are so many positive things you can do to keep your energy high even when things are not working. Keep a list of things you can try, this way when you are having an off day, rather than staying in your head you can try something that works.

Here are a few ideas,
Light a candle, allow spirit in to help you.
Go for a walk in nature.
Listen to music
Dance, move your body, it shifts energy
Cry if you want to
Write out how you are feeling then throw it out.
Positive affirmations.

These all help to stay out of the mind and stop us from becoming attached to our thoughts. Meditation works wonders to move us back into the heart and out of the head.

The worst thing we can do is give up, beat ourselves up, or give thought to why things are not showing up. With persistence and vigilant watch over our thoughts and emotions, we will bring to us that which we want. It starts out small almost as if wanting us to recognize it and say yes, more please. See the small things, and celebrate them, be peacefully thankful for them and they will grow. We all have the same manifesting abilities, we all deserve to have our desires met, we are all capable of doing this, just keep doing it, it gets better, in fact make a game of it.

Just be…I hear it all the time from my friend but never really understood what it meant. You see, I am the type of person who always needs to be doing something, whether it be for my family, my friends, my neighbors…You get the picture. This all means no time for me.

Meditation does give time for me. No one else can be a part of my meditative state. There are stages one must go through on their way to actually just being. First and foremost, and this is my biggy, you have to get used to sitting still. No movement. No running here and there. This is like hitting the off switch on your body. Do you have one? Do you know where it is? Find it and the world will appear a lot clearer.

Am I the only one who has trouble focusing? Today with television, video games, music videos and movies there is always something flickering in front of you trying to distract you from your focus. There are wise people in the world who have found a better life by taking the TV, radio, newspaper and video games out of the home. They are no longer being pelted and drawn every which way. They have found the ability to focus on living and doing it in quality fashion.

Okay, so now you can focus on your job, on your children, on your friends. But what about turning that focus inwards on you? Meditation will help you learn to discover what makes you you. You may not like what you see at first but made aware of it gives you the power to change it. There’s a saying that goes something like this: you can’t know what you don’t know. Think about it…

As the months go by and you continue to meditate daily you will probably find yourself meditating for longer periods of time. This is not at all unusual. You are beginning to feel peace. Your children don’t recognize you because you are so calm around them. It feels so good you begin to crave those times of the day when you take a break for yourself. Meditation can become very addictive but in an extremely positive way.

You are becoming more focused as you meditate. You are discovering what it means to feel relaxed. Your thoughts are no longer like a pinball machine in your head. Your mind especially is settling down. In this state you are able to accomplish so much more and feel good about it. You will know you have done your best and now it’s time to move on to the next item on your list.

As you meditate, as you become better at it and enjoy it more and more you are bound to experience short periods of stillness and peace. Embrace these times. You have established yourself on the road to “just being”. Congratulations!

The great mathematician Pythagoras used sequences of numbers that were tied closely to sacred geometry. It used a similar method of sequential number summation as the mathematician Fibonacci employed. It is far more complex in scope than the Fibonacci sequence uses, but a lot of the numbers are the same using both methods.

For those of you not so familiar with Pythagoras He is the one credited with the equation:

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

Perfect Square = 3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2 = 25 or any whole number multiplied by these numbers; for instance.

(3 x 3)^2 + (3 x 4)^2 = (3 x 5)^2 = 9^2 + 12^2 = 15^2 = 225

Perfect Square = 5^2 + 12^2 = 13^2 = 169

Pythagoras was also a master of the ancient mysteries, and was a founding member of a secret knowledge Fraternity. He kept his secrets closely guarded, and allowed only persons knowledgeable in mathematics, music, and reason into his fold.

This is the mathematical blueprint for the alchemy of harmonic balance and Unity of spirit, mind, and body, through numeric sequencing according to my interpretation of Pythagoras’s terms.

Also injected into the sequence is the secret Philosophy of Hermes Trismegistus

Fibonacci sequence

Obviously there is a lot involved with Pythagoras’s sequence of sacred numbers. There are many aspects of this sequence that I have not even considered yet. Fibonacci kept it fairly simple, although it does go much deeper than this article takes it.

I hope that you are starting to understand the significance of the sacred numbers as they relate to the construction of the Universe and Man’s 3 fold spiritual, Mental, and Physical development.

For instance 2^2 ?6 = 9.797958971 this is very close to being equal to the gravitational fore of Earth. This could very well be a coincidence, but I doubt it. All life is dependent upon gravity for many different reasons.

Both numbers are sacred, 2 ^2 represents Duality squared. 6 is the number of man, it is derived by taking the sum of the sum of Unity and Duality, and the sum of Unity and Duality = 3 + 3.The square root of 6 represents origin of man, it is an irrational number, I wounder why?

?6 = 2.449489743 this is between 2 and 3, so man was raised from his original state of being to the higher state of being that we exist in now.

The number 666 has long been a feared number by those of certain religious faiths. According to my reasoning, the Pythagorian school of thought would maintain that this number represents mans ascension to enlightenment.

If there are 36 degrees of ascension for the Spirit, Mind, and Body to attain the balance and harmony that Unity is, there would be 12 degrees of ascension for each aspect of Spirit, Mind, and Body.

12 x 36 = 432; 666 – 432 = 234; 432 – 234 = 198 which is very close to equaling (?^11) – 1 = 197.96;

666 / 12 = 55.5 which is very close to the mean resonance of the resonance of the Earth = 60.57Hz, and the resonance of our Solar system = 50.177Hz;

(60.57 + 50.177) / 2 = 55.3735Hz.

666 / 36 = 18.5; 18.5 / 3 = 6.1666666667 If you divide this by 10 it is very close to equaling phi =.618

3^2((6^2 x 2) + 2) = 666

666, This number simply represents the harmonic Unity of the 3 aspects of the fully enlightened Human Being. I think that someone of this nature would definitely pose a problem to most theological schools of thought prevalent in the world today. Also 666 represents man’s elemental construction being composed of the carbon element which has 6 neutrons, 6 protons, and 6 electrons.

I do not wish to imply that we should all go around wearing 666 as a mantra, this number has a negative meaning to a lot of people, so it is best to be understanding. Be respectful of others beliefs, refrain from any practices that would create a negative influence in the minds of others.

There are 2 paths for all beings to follow. One is on the high frequency range, the other on the lower frequency range. All enlightened beings should follow the higher frequency range for obvious reasons.

Even enlightened beings can become negatively influenced by too much power.

Ego is the darkness that casts shadows over the light of Love.

It is not wise to seek power over others, this creates conflict. Greed, and the lust of power over others are what destroys families and Nations.

Be mindful of each thought, and even more so of the words you choose to use, they have more power than you think. Thoughts and words are vibrations that can have a positive or negative affect on us.

Thank you for joining me on my quest for Truth and higher knowledge, I hope that your mind has been opened by my words and equations.

Like all of my articles, this is a work in progress and updates will be frequent.

PEACE!
